Senna

I found Senna randomly as I was driving by, I walked in and all the girls were very welcoming and I sat right down. Very clean and bright inside. Elizabeth did my eyebrows and I was impressed! Elizabeth is a true artist. I went back for my second appointment almost a month later and my eyebrows are continuing to get fuller and take better shape. I am looking forward to going back next month. Thank you Elizabeth:)

Jennifer did my brows. Best. Brows. Ever. Truly recommend her (and Senna) for brows. Converted me to never go back to waxing again.

I’ve never written a review before, so please bear with me. I went to Senna Cosmetics for an emergency makeup appointment. I was a bridesmaid in my sister-​in-​laws wedding. The makeup artist (at the venue) didn’t have enough time to do my makeup. I quickly googled places nearby and found Senna Cosmetics. The girl that did my makeup did a fantastic job. She put about 8 layers of makeup on me and it still managed to look «natural». I was the only girl at the end of the night who didn’t look like she had slept at da club and had one too many drinks. The pictures came out great and I received a ton of compliments, especially from the other girls in the wedding party. The makeup artists name was Elizabeth and she was truly a joy. She let me vent about the wedding party and the makeup artist and hair stylist all while doing a speedy job; I had to be back at the venue for pictures. Thank you Senna and Elizabeth for doing a great job. I really appreciate it!

I’ve been coming to Senna now for over a year and loved that the opened the Westlake location. It’s closer to me and now I no longer have to travel as far as I use to. My eyebrows are somewhat of a challenge because they are straight. I’ve been going to Jennifer at Senna and my eyebrows haven’t looked this good in years. They finally have an arch to them!!! I’m not sure about the other reviewer Kristin D. comments about the products but I can tell you that they are anything but cheap. Since using their products my skin has never looked and felt better. I have very sensitive skin and usually have breakouts using other makeup, that’s why I didn’t wear it. Since using their products I haven’t had one breakout. In over a year!!! Also Senna has been around for 40 years and if you actually go in with an open mind about the kind of routine you use in the morning the girls there are more than accommodating and recommend other products that you can use. It looks like Kristin D. only likes posting bad reviews on Unilocal for some reason. Such a shame to give Senna a bad review since they deserve nothing but great reviews on Unilocal.I’ve sent at least 5 of my friends here and they have all raved about their experiences and rebooked.

Given that I already have good brows it’s hard to actually mess them up. I can officially say Senna messed them up. I simply requested that my brows are not trimmed into to lose their thickness and I have bald spots in my brows. The girl had such a bad attitude doing them. On top of it, their brow product feels so cheap! Their brow gel is like glue and you can feel it caking on to your brow hair. There’s a reason why there’s few Sennas around. Guaranteed this place closes in the next 5 – 6 months.

I have never paid more than $ 25 for my brows. So when the lady told me $ 40 I was reasonably taken aback.
However there is a first time client discount, so for $ 32 you can experience Senna and decide whether you want to keep coming back.
And it is an experience ladies.
It’s a brow spa. It takes them 30 minutes to do your eyebrows. You get refreshments, interesting music choices, and your eyebrows done.
But experience aside, this was my best eyebrow shaping ever.
They don’t wax, but they do tweeze (hence the 30 mins) and optional threading (I’m not that keen on this bit and kept it to a minimum during my appointment). You get to give a lot of input which makes it a really comfortable experience. No hair loss anxiety here.
Since my appointment I have gotten plenty of compliments. That makes it money and time well spent!

The absolute BEST! Not only is the place clean and beautiful but they have the best staff! Jennifer is so amazingly talented. She is like a magician. She is a perfectionist which makes for the best makeup artist. I will definitely be going back!
