AWESOME! One of our favorite restaurants. Friendly family owned and run business. The food is prepared and presented in a first class manner. Our whole family enjoys it and if you are looking for authentic, reasonably priced Japanese food you will not be disappointed. I love their sushi!

Amazing ramen I could have it every day for life and never get sick of it!!! I always ask for an extra egg on the side to put in my bowl!

I want to eat here ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. For a small little hole in the wall, this place is a treasure! Great food, great service, and quick food. I could eat their Udon all the time. Hot, full of flavor, and a big portion for a small price. Also, this is the first place I have ever liked a CA roll. I cannot wait to go back!

By no means this is «japanese» place. It’s Korean. There is nothing Japanese about it. Today I decided to give them a try and ordered just basic ramen bowl. It was disgusting. The noodles were not«freshly made». They were the cheapest kind, undercooked. The kind you will find in the cheapest instant Cup-O-Noodle. Broth had no flavor and the half egg in the soup was cold. Right from the fridge, I suppose. Whoever thinks that this is «delicious» ramen must have really undeveloped taste palette. Looked around and people were gobbling on rather plain and basic food put out as a bento dinner. Rolls looked terrible — just imitation crab drained in mayo. Meh. Will not be back. Food is very sub-par.

This place is hidden away in one of the many plazas of Thousand Oaks Blvd. It is super clean with a restful ambiance. It is a great place to eat alone, during a lunch break, or to chill with buddies. The food is quick and the price is reasonable. The portions are good. You have to try the Nori house special, which has enough sashimi to make the bowl feel expensive and enough rice and salad to feel both full and healthy.

Nori Grill is a regular stop on my restaurant rotation. Everything is awesome. They make fresh ramen noodles and the udon is fantastic too. Sushi is limited to rolls and they are great. No nigiri sushi though. My SO usually gets one of the bento boxes: teriyaki chicken or beef and salmon.

I went for the first time with my friend(I’m from Simi) and wanted some good ramen. The soy ramen was WONDERFUL! Very rich pork based broth, great pork, and wonderful noodles. There is the Shabu in Simi but I’m thinking that their noodles are instant. These noodles were not and that made everything better! The place was packed with people(mostly Asian, so GREATSIGN), and my friend and I had to sit at the«bar» area looking into the parking lot before someone left and we got a spot by the door… try and go early at a non conventional dinner time… we got there around 7… Looking forward to going again with my parents tonight hopefully!

Nice menu and simple, clean design. Feels like I’m in Osaka. The spicy pork loin bowl is amazing. The Bento box is always a good lunch option, and yes the best ramen in the Conejo valley.

I love Nori. Excellent service, great food, and reasonable prices. I love the spicy salmon bowls, Nori House bowls, and their ramen is the best! They also have homemade kimchi, and it’s really good. I have never been disappointed.

The food here is SOGOOD. And totally worth what you pay for. My only negative I guess is that I wish there was more seating. It’s super tiny inside.

I ordered the kimchi Japanese ramen and I would say that I was disappointed. There was barely any flavor at all in the ramen and it wasn’t filling. I wish they had Sriracha here, but they only had this powder. The meat was bland as well as the vegetables and the broth. The bathroom here was kind of weird too. You have to go through the kitchen.

I was expecting it is a restaurant, but it is more like an express food place. food tastes average, didn’t get water for the entire time, and no restroom…

I’d come back here. It’s not styled like a sit down and order resturant; you order at a counter, take a number and sit down. There isn’t a waiter or waitress to wait on you, so if that’s the type of resturant you’re looking for this isn’t that place. I got the unagi bowl, and it was pretty good — I would probably try another bowl next time just to see if this place is consistent. My boyfriend got the Spicy albacore bowl, which wasn’t at all spicy but he enjoyed it. I would have given the resturant 5 stars but I did find a small hair in my food. We wrote it off as a one time slip but I was pretty grossed out. They have time warner if you’re looking for a place to watch the dodgers game AND have a pretty tasty bowl I’d come here. They have a more expansive menu including Korean bbq and sushi rolls.(we tried a spicy tuna roll and it was very spicy) Give it a try! It’s worth it!

Nori House Bowl gets all my love. My coworkers and I eat here now and then. We try to come before noon so we can secure one of the retangular tables. This place is quick, food is fresh and staff is pleasant. My biggest problem is deciding what to eat. I usually go in thinking I’ll try something new then end up with the Nori House Bowl. Tasty, light & satisfying!

They close at 7:30 on a Saturday night… what?!? We rushed over here like 30 min before closing to place our order and get food before the kitchen closed. Also, they don’t have a public restroom. But now, on to the good. Their menu has good variety, and their food is reasonably priced. I had some difficulty ordering because they have so many options that all looked really good. We ordered a chirashi bowl, chicken teriyaki bento box, and baked salmon roll. All were very good. The bento box comes with a lot of food, as does the chirashi bowl. For two people, this was more than enough food, and I took home leftovers. Still delicious the next day. I would definitely return if I’m in the area.

Now this is my kind of place. A mix of Korean and Japanese food at affordable prices! The restaurant itself is small but has about 12 tables. It’s the type of place where you order at the counter from a menu on the wall. The rolls are not as intricate as a normal Japanese restaurant but the basic rolls are quite good. The beef and chicken teriyaki are very tasty. I’ve also enjoyed the yakisoba noodles. The good thing about the rolls are that they are big in proportions. The shrimp tempura roll is quite filling and includes a small side salad and miso soup. Nori offers phở but I have yet to try it. There’s one small tv on the wall near the self serve soda machine. Although there isn’t a waitress your food/order is brought to your table. I really enjoy the casualness of Nori and the food is good quality. Nori satisfies my teriyaki cravings as well as my tempura needs. Like a good drug dealer, Nori has everything this Asian guy will ever want.

One of the only, if not the only, place to get ramen in the valley, and it’s excellent: noodles are fresh and cooked just right and the broth is deep rich tasting without excess spiciness. Also had an Aloha sushi roll, fresh, subtle seasoned rice, and crispy tempura shrimp. Good fast service without being rushed while looking over the lengthy menu.
