Their online menu offers a Calzone with two toppings for $ 14.95. When I called, the owner said they recently went down to only one topping. I asked if they’d honor their online menu prices($ 1.75 is ridiculous for a second topping), and they wouldn’t. Hope they enjoy their $ 1.75 because they lost a customer.

Love this place but they just stopped selling a medium pizza. So now my wife and I are forced to buy a large or small. Too bad!

So it was dreary Saturday afternoon and I decided to order pizza not from a chain and wanted to order from this place a few weeks ago but wasn’t hungry enough to spend the money. However, today was that day. I ordered for delivery in spite of the reviews against it. My order arrived when the email said it would. I ordered the garlic knots, med thin crust pizza, a side of marinara, and the Tiramisu. The restaurant called about 18 min before scheduled delivery to inform me that they were currently out of the Tiramisu, disappointed but I decided to get the canoli’s instead. The pizza was very tasty however I won’t order it with perscuitto again, I was thinking it was going to be Parma(face palm) but great flavor nonetheless. WOW, the marinara and homemade canoli’s were AMAZING! Because of the deliver cost il probably dine in instead but the $ 5 off coupon made it worthwhile.

Really enjoyed not only the food, but also the service here. We split the meatless italian salad as well as a family size pizza with pesto and I loved both! I think prices are fair, $ 40 fed our family of 3 which I think is a fair deal. Quality is great, really loved their crust and the ingredients are top notch as well. Very good tomato sauce as well as pesto, salad very fresh and filling. Best spot for pizza in the area!

Just ate here for the first time and I was blown away by the quality of ingredients and the crust, oh my sweet baby Jesus, the crust!!! We got a couple small specialty pizzas. The ingredients were all high end and they don’t hold back on the real cheeses. The crust was thin, crispy and light. Every bite was full of flavor. You have to love a place that goes for quality. The ambiance is family pizzeria. A lot of the décor is centered around the owner’s family and awards they’ve won over the years.

We found this place by accident and now we order from them every weekend. Pizza is comparable or better to that feeling you get when you know you are getting lucky that night. Add the garlic knots to your order for an added treat. Website is simple and easy to use. Good food takes time — be patient! Highly recommended for the Thousand Oaks /Westlake foodies.

Wouldn’t take my delivery order. They said the last time to order was 9:15. My cell phone said 9:14, but he wouldn’t take my order. No customer service. It is 9:16 as a write this, so clearly it was close enough to help a customer.

Pizza is definitely one of my favorite foods, and if I’m in the mood for a thin crust pizza this is my go to spot. Their sauce is really good tasting and I love the texture of their crust. I’ve tried many combinations of toppings from here, so far I have liked everything. One thing I really LOVE is their olives. I usually don’t like olives on my pizza because so many places use low quality olives, but here I can tell they use really good olives compared to most places. I also like really like their Italian meatless salad. I was kind of weirded out at first because I’ve never had that many beans on my salad before, but it was so good. As far as the service goes everyone I have talked to has been pleasant and accommodating to me.

$ 18 for a small salad and a eggplant parm s’wich… Huh? My fault. I was a lazy orderer. The food was good… Place was clean, service was good. As I sat and ate my expensive lunch, I studies the menu… Tried to figure out what I should’ve ordered to get my lunch tab to a reasonable level. To be honest, I was unsuccessful. There weren’t many combinations of a s’wich and salad that totaled a reasonable price of $ 10 – 12. As I said the food was good but not for that price. My advice is don’t be a lazy orderer. Otherwise you’ll dramatically overpay for a quick and easy lunch like I did.

Really good pizza. We had heard about this place and wanted to try it out. Not in love with the prices. I thought toppers was expensive, but this place competes pretty well. The delivery charge was not expected and made it hard to make a tip on top of that given the high price for only 8 slices. The delivery time was over 20 minutes early which was great.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza it was very good. However, the cashier was not very friendly. It seems like she hates her job. Would like to come back when they’re is a friendlier cashier.

Great time always at D’Amores Chef Lea is the best! We bring our daycare friends there every summer to ‘make a pizza’. So fun & tasty too!

What the Hell! Prices have gone up significantly and they still charge $ 5 for delivery. Doesn’t matter if you live two blocks away. A medium pizza and small salad cost over $ 40 plus another $ 5 for delivery. Pizzas not consistent either. Sometimes with generous amounts of cheese and meat. Other times, very skimpy. The crust at times is hard as a rock too.

The best spot for a nice lunch and some great pizza. The staff is friendly and the location is always nice and relaxing. The pizza lunch special for about ten bucks is a great lunch for two that includes a drink, salad, two slices of Pizza and two little garlic breads. Would recommend you try at least once and you should fall in love with this little restaurant.

I have to say I concur with the Jennifer H. review. This place makes the BEST pizza in Thousand Oaks. No other pizzeria even comes close if you’ve been to Italy or grew up in New York. That being said, D’Amore’s business practices are quite disrespectful to their customers. The prices have skyrocketed. I just ordered a pizza for delivery and salad and I am paying around $ 40. Included in that price is a charge for delivery. At the end of online ordering I was also asked to provide a tip for the driver. Why should I be tipping the driver if I am already paying for delivery? Now my order, for just myself at home alone tonight, is over $ 40. This is the greatest pizza place… but let’s all keep in mind that this remains, in the end, just pizza. The ingredients are not expensive. A Cordon Bleu Chef is not required. No cloth napkins need to be laundered. Because of the above, in addition to customer interaction, I only order from D’Amore’s about once per year. I sure wish it were more, but it’s hard to forget that a pizza from Costco is not SO bad and in the end only costs $ 10.

HOLYCRAP! :) This pizza is amazing! :) it’s light, not heavy so u don’t feel like u ate too much, the taste is extremely decadent, the ingredients are all made fresh in store, there is no bad ingredients, NOMSG, NOTRANSFAT, NOLARD, NOMARGARINE, this really is a healthy pizza! So it’s a little hole in the wall place, I met the owners grand daughter that created the recipe for their pizza’s and she was really sweet, I had told her that I have not found a pizza place in Ventura county that has blown my mind yet and she promised me that this pizza I bought from them would for sure blow my mind, and you know what? She was right, totally blew my mind, the pizza was really really good, I give 5 stars to this pizza and will for sure be back for more again. :)

Ordered a 2 slices to go yesterday… extremely delicious, and I have always loved D’Amore’s. We thought it was funny how bored the girl at the register was. Like, I get it… you’re working all day on a beautiful Sunday… but smile and be friendly. Oh, and she forgot the ranch we requested? HELLO!

This one is really tough to rate. I should start off by saying that this place makes the BEST tasting pizza in Ventura County. It’s really excellent. No other place compares. So why only 3 stars? I don’t at all like the attitudes and customer service over there. Reminds me of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. They know they are the best, so they don’t see a need to treat customers with respect. In this place the customer is usually WRONG, not right, which is a shame. I keep going here because the pizza is so superior to everywhere else, but boy do I wish they were a bit nicer.

The place is your typical fast food joint, but the staff are friendly, the thin crust is crisp, and the garlic knots are kinda good. We had the barbeque chicken pizza. The chicken is bland, but they did a pretty good job spreading the barbeque, and the cheese is great. Honestly, anything tastes good after a long hike in Malibu, and this is one of few reasonably-priced places you can go to that will let you in with dirt up to your knees.
