Ask for Chelsea! She is amazing with color. I’ve been seeing her for well over a year, and moved with her from the Regis in the Thousand Oaks mall to Jamie’s. I have seen her work on both blonde and red hair– two of the toughest shades by far– and it always comes out beautiful. Personally, Chelsea has taken me from my natural dark blonde, to neutral blonde, to lighter, to more beige/​golden, and even recently corrected a color mishap I had elsewhere, totally saving the day! She is magical! This girl is the real deal. And on top of everything else, she’s a sweet, wonderful person. You will not regret trusting Chelsea with your hair.

Horrible, it’s called Chez Galatea, and it’s horrible. Worst experience I’ve had.
I spent $ 700 there just to go and spend another $ 650 to go have my lips fixed.
Oh and don’t give them your email, they will spam the he’ll out of you.
Their are way better doctors out there, be careful with this one.

Alexis North can make even my hair look decent! I have ridiculously baby-​fine hair and it is thinning out even more. I have yet to find a stylist that really knows what to do with my hair until Alexis. She is really great about working with clients too. This review is long overdue but I was afraid that if word got out of how great she is, it may be harder to get an appointment in the future.

I used to see Cori at Regis, and I had to follow her here. I wouldn’t let anyone else do my hair as she makes it look amazing! She’s the best at blonde hair! Color and cut comes out perfect every time!

Been going here for 10+ years. The staff is great, and I have an excellent stylist. I’m always receiving compliments on my hair.
Tip: Consider booking appointments off-​peak hours, as their shared parking lot fills fast.

I came here out on a whim because my hair stylist was extremely booked and I needed my hair done stat. Booked an appointment with Tracy — trusted her because my friend’s hair looked great.
My dark brown, almost black, roots were grown out with my blonde balyage. I asked for my hair to be fixed back to my yellow blonde and to take the color up to my roots. She began by highlighting my whole head. She put bleach over my roots without even dying them first. How are you going to bleach my blonde balyage and bleach my BROWN ALMOST BLACK ROOTS and expect for my hair to look ok?
I sat in the dryer as she took 20 – 25 min to cut another customer’s hair… MY SCALP LITERALLY TURNED RED because it was burning and I was under so long. It was so hot I lifted the dryer and just sat there as she cut another customer’s hair because I could not take it.
I color my hair all the time, I know how much time goes into it, especially going blonde. I had been there nearly 4 hours. When she finally washed me she had to tone it. It was extremely, extremely light at the top but after toning it didn’t look too bad. I was in a rush to go somewhere that evening so I had to leave.
When I got home I looked in my bathroom lighting and I was furious at what I saw. In some views the root of my head looked white, even GREEN. I combed my hair back and also saw that the highlights were so sloppy and did not even start at the root. In fact they were completely crooked and it was noticeable.
I politely asked Tracy what I should do because my roots were not looking right at all. She told me it was probably the toner and to try washing it a few times — that if it didn’t change after a few days to come back so she could fix it. Mind you, it was the day before New Year’s Eve. Does it look like I have a few days to have hair like this???
I was so disappointed. Also to find that there was extreme, EXTREME breakage done to my hair. I’ve had TONS of bleach put in my hair professionally and it was never until this past time that my hair looks and feels the way it does — like straw.
I had to go back to my girl and have it toned. Embarrassed to say the least.

Taylor is a hair God! He’s fairly new to California and quickly being discovered here. The moment you will sit in his chair you will notice the skills that he has. He is so good at what he does. He’s an amazing color technician. For as long as I can remember I had brassy looking colors because I was told I had too much red pigmentation… Then comes Taylor who solves the problem without a hitch. His technique when he weaves is also unreal. He’s patient, clean and thorough when he works, always resulting in amazing highlights. I also get my Brazilian Blowout with him and again amazing! Taylor uses great products and keeps your hair healthy! I can’t say enough good things about his work. You’ll leave happy every single time. He’s very fairly priced and won’t make you wait like other places. When he gives you an appointment time– he’ll be there ready to work on your hair. I also bring my 6 and 4 year old daughters to him for haircuts and they adore him. My husband recently got his haircut by Taylor and was also very happy. I love this guy and would recommend you give him a try and you too will see what you’ve missed all these years.

If you want an amazing experience along with the best your hair has ever looked, you HAVE to book with Vanessa Schottel! Vanessa has literally transformed my hair from fried and frizzy to shiny and healthy. In the past I was always hesitant to ask about new trends as I was worried about being bullied into products & services I didn’t need or might look bad. However, all that changed when I started going to Vanessa. He opinion is always spot on and she is never trying to up-​sell me on things that I do not need or would not work with my hair.
I used to leave hair appointments wondering what I spent so much money on, and now I leave knowing that every cent was 100% worth it. Thank you Vanessa!

Do yourself a favor, ask for Vanessa Schottel !! I change my hair very often, and she always makes it happen. She listens, and is a true creative professional. I always leave feeling refreshed, and like a new woman. She gets me… whether I wanna be blonde, brunette, or some color in-​between :)

Ask for Ariana! She is the best! I always feel like a million bucks after she styles my hair. I am constantly getting compliments too! She knows how to style my crazy curly hair, which is a rare find.

I never had a pedicure before and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it was very relaxing. The whole experience with Gina Longo was professional and personal. I will definitely treat my feet to some more relaxation in the near future :)

Highly recommended by a good friend, I decided to check it out. OMGosh, Kim Barry is a color godess! The cut, color and blow made me (if I may say) look and feel fabulous. Kim is a hoot. Her personality made the hours fly by. And, the pièce de résistance … the cost. btw: this was a good three weeks ago, my hair still looks and feels great. Now my daughter goes there — she’s just as pleased.

Booked a Brazilian Blowout with Gina. Gina is fantastic — skilled, professional and personable. I am very happy with my Brazilian Blowout, and plan to come back to Gina for cut and color. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I can’t say enough good things about Laura wray. She did a full weave on my hair last year and totally wowed me at how perfect the color came out. This was my first time with her. My former stylist is back on the east coast where I moved from so it was a bit scary to try a new stylist (I’m very picky with my hair as I’ve had one or two awful cuts before finding my previous stylist). She did a trim on my hair and it looked great.
This time I got a lob (long bob) and another full weave. I am so happy with my cut and just as I expected my color was again amazing.
She is very nice and creates a fun and warm experience. I will never go anywhere else as long as she is a stylist there!

Had another great cut with TAYLOR! The guy is great! Even after 5 weeks my hair, albeit needing a cut, was still able to be styled and looked good. Truly a gifted stylist!

I can’t speak to anything else about this salon except for the particular hair stylist that I see — Arianna Tangora. I mean, the place is fine… receptionist is nice blah blah blah. I go there specifically for Arianna because she kills it every time. In fact, I just had a wildly successful business meeting and I suspect it was because they were all mesmerized with the awesome hair cut I had the day before. Do yourself a favor and book her ASAP.
