Godiva is good chocolate but it’s so expensive. If I buy it I only buy it for gifts. When 2 pieces of chocolate cost 5 bucks I’d rather go to See’s. There chocolate is beautiful to look at but they look better than they taste to me. There chocolate covered berries look good but I’ve learned how to make them myself for so much less.

Came in for the new year to purchase a very large and expensive box of fine chocolates. Well I was helped by the lovely manager Vanessa she gave me such great service personalized my box of chocolates to my liking she even took the time out to put tissue in my bag so it was ready to give out to my lover. I recommend this location for their outstanding customer service. I’ll be back for all the holidays this year. Thank you Vanessa Manager of Godiva in Thousand Oaks.

This is a small little boutique store in The Oaks Mall. I went in today to get my free truffle for being a reward member and the staff was super friendly and attentive. One of the young woman working offered me help and gave me suggestions on truffles I might want to try. She scanned my reward card and notified me that since I’d last been in(it had been a while) their policy had changed and now a purchase of $ 10 or more was needed each year to activate the free truffle per month. I had been wanting to try their chocolate dipped strawberries but had not been previously willing to spend the mad cash needed on them and today I was feeling like treating myself so I got one. One paper cone of strawberries was about $ 12.50 and contained 5 strawberries. 4 were luscious and delicious and the one at the bottom was smaller and way under-ripe. It was a bummer to finish off my strawberry experience with that dud of a berry, and made me unhappy to have spent the total I had. The chocolate here is good quality and I really like their truffles. I tried their mint chocolate today and it was quite splendid. My all time favorite is their Grand Marnier but it is apparently a seasonal thing and isn’t in season now. Bummer. The alcoholic truffles are also not eligible(anymore) for the monthly free-truffle thingy(another bummer). Overall, I like the quality of the chocolates here and love the truffles. The dipped strawberries were good except for the one that wasn’t, and I find Godiva to be more convenient and accessible than the very high-artisan chocolatiers that I’ve had. Yes, it’s pricey, but you don’t have to spend a fortune or have ultra-refined taste to enjoy the treats here.

Absolutely atrocious customer service! Purchased a couple boxes, tried to return one a day later and was told«no receipt would only provide for a store credit». The arrogance and lack of customer service will be remembered!

absolutely snobby and not customer oriented. Pushed us to buy more and then shorted the amount of chocolate we purchased. better chocolate elsewhere, and much better attitudes elsewhere.

Audrey made my Christmas shopping a breeze. I came in to purchase baskets from the brochure Godiva mailed me. The store did not have the ones I wanted, they were special order. Audrey made me(4) baskets that were personalized and beautiful. She was super helpful and we saved money using the buy one get one 50% off. Thanks Audrey… wishing you a super 2014!

I know people who go nuts for Godiva chocolate, so I stopped in to buy a quick gift. The ladies in the store were so helpful. They steered me away from a tiny box at $ 30, and I wound up with a box(with a beautiful flowery bow) for $ 37 that was TWICE the size. They were so nice and friendly. Next time I’m at the TO Mall, I’ll stop in.
