I stopped here for lunch today and had a very tasty chicken sandwich on a lightly toasted French roll. With cheese it was $ 6 and very filling! The staff was all very friendly and polite to me and the restaurant/café was clean and well lit. They have a few small tables for patrons to dine-in, or are happy to make your food to go. Deli salads, sliced deli meats and cheeses, as well as Italian imports such as balsamic vinegars, olive oils, dry pasta and cookies/crackers are also available. Cold sodas are in the refrigerator along with ice teas and other drinks. I definitely recommend Bottega Deli!

Wow. That’s all I can say wow. Service, food quality, and prices. The guy that help me out look like a bodybuilder. Really nice Hispanic man that spoke English and Spanish. Suggested a sandwich which was awesome.

Went and tried this place after going to the barbershop nearby. Had to compare as we are regulars at Italia deli. I definetely prefer Italia deli and is worth the wait. Bottega was not crowded at all and prices were also higher for a sandwich. When they gave me a sandwich I thought they must be mistaken and told him I asked for a large and wasnt much difference in size from small. The guy told me more meat in the large. A large from Italia can be shared by more than one person and is delicious. Although not horrible, this was so so place for the price.

I just love this place. Always will. It’s not just the astounding array of specialty provisions, though that certainly doesn’t hurt the cause. People browse. They shop. They sample. They sniff. They chat. They enjoy the space. It’s like taking a vacation for half an hour. Today I went with my brother and mom and conversed at length with the italian woman who owns the place, Rita. So lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Then, I spent nearly 45 minutes just looking at varietals of pasta, oils and cheeses! We tasted 2 hot focaccias and one cold panino, # 2−5−7. The quality of the products and the perfect combinations left us speechless. Did I even purchase anything? YES! And once at home, I tasted Italy again. I can’t possibly have enough of this place. You all need to try it out! Plenty of parking spots, amazing personnel and location. A treat for the tummy, the mouth, the eyes, the spirit!

Staff takes a while to make the food. But every sandwich I’ve had here is super yummy. I would suggest this place to others but not if you are in a hurry.

I work down the street, and being a barber means that I need a quick meal while on break. This is by far my favorite deli in the area! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to any changes they make in the future since they recently changed ownership. Highly recommend that you try this place! Leo makes a mean Prosciutto sandwich!!!

Great sandwiches, great soups, great service! The new owners really turned this place into a great Italian deli. I highly recommend them. They even offer a huge catering menu. While I was in line to pay a couple in front of me raved about their soup and sandwich that they’d just devoured. The husband said the wife initially wasn’t that hungry, but she ate the rest of the food because it was so good. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

Bottega Italian Deli is the most wonderful discovery of my new year so far! Been there 2 days ago with my best friend. I’m originally from Italy, and entering the shop was like going back home! The smell of fresh baked bread and the sight of products I’ve been growing up with… Delicious!!! I brought home a real, handmade panettone(Christmas typical dessert in Italy) and 2 packs of the most amazing pasta! Also ordered 2 paninis, one vegetarian version for me called Grilled Veggies #10(try it out, please! The veggies are so so tasty and it has REAL parmigiano cheese!!!) and a hot one(#6 L’Americano) with real Parma Prosciutto, roast beef, swiss cheese, roasted bell peppers… They got all kind of cold cuts of meat, cheeses, pasta(fresh and dry) to buy and bring home as well as a variety of ready-to-go lasagnas, eggplant parmigianas, arancini… ! Great spot, parking is free and there’s plenty of space. You can decide to stay in and sit to taste your food, since they’ve got a few tables and chairs, or take it with you, your choice! It’s like entering a food’ boutique! They recently changed owners(now REAL Italians). Loved their attitude, so helpful, smiley and kind. They also gave me a couple of ideas on how to make the pasta I bought! I just can’t wait to go back and taste it all!!! I’d have given 10 stars, but Unilocal gave me ‘only’ 5! BRAVO, Bottega Deli! Everybody, Go pay a visit to the closest thing to Authentic Italy you can get in LA! Super!
