Great for chasing lizards, viewing gators, fishing off the dock, etc. it costs $ 2 to park here but it is always clean and rarely over crowded. There is no playground at this location, but we knew this in advance. They have a great canoe service and friendly staff. We mainly go here to dis on the dock. It’s always quiet and offers a great view of the river.

Rented canoes, had a great float trip for 4 miles down a small river. Lots of Animals and wildlife. Very relaxing.

There is a small boardwalk that loops around. Not a lot to see here. I didn’t see any wildlife when I was here.

This park is home to Canoe Escape and is popular for canoe trips. There is also a boat ramp launch, a short boardwalk trail and another short trail that connects with a picnic area. Be prepared for bus.
It’s very pretty here and people fish off the boardwalk. There’s a parking fee (I think $ 2?). The paved section of the Old Fort King Trail, a multi-use trail for horseback riders, bicycle riders and hikers starts here although there are free parking spots along the trail further north.
A nice spot to enjoy Florida nature.
