This State Park has a community pool and bike rentals as you drive in deeper! The fee for pool access is $ 4. I wouldn’t recommend exploring the park during the summer months without mosquito repellent… those little suckers don’t play around. They WILL come after you the moment you park and get out of your car.

Park Info Brief: The park entrance fee is $ 6 for car load. Open everyday from 8am until Sundown. You can camp here, bike, hike on trails, fish, and other outdoor activities. I suggest checking out the website to learn more and see some great pictures of the place.
This was very second visit ever in my life. The last time I was here was over 15 years ago. The state park is very nicely done, relaxing, quiet, very large, various offerings available, great trails, camping sites, swimming pool, playground area, picnic tables, concession stand, and various parking areas for different activities. There are 4 different parking lots in the state park: P Lot #2 Is a great spot for a short walk to the Rapids from here. You can also walk to the other trails and bridges. P Lot#3 Is my highly recommended parking lot because these place has the 2 bridges to walk across, a starting point for different trails, playground area, picnic area, close to the pool, concession stand, and canoe rentals. P Lot#4 Is very primarily for the pool, concession stand, and other activities P Lot# 5 Is for another trail to hike on I highly recommend wearing pants and boots for the trails to avoid watery mud and mosquitoes. Wear some bug spray too. The Rapid trail is a beautiful easy walk along the river with some great photo shots along the way. There are some benches for resting as needed. Also, there is a large cypress tree that is open in the bottom. You can actually stand inside it. I highly recommend visiting this state park for a great visit to the wonderful outdoors in Florida. ***As of my last visit July 30th, the suspended bridge was close due to maintenance, but you can still walk around the trail without back tracking.***
