Thomasville delivered some of my furniture today — using a company named«Executive Delivery Service.» They are based out of Thomasville, NC. The driver called me about 7:15 am this morning to get directions. Because my neighborhood is so new — it does not show up in most map or GPS programs. The driver told me on the phone that when he entered my address, it choked on it and showed the closest crossroads as in Manassas, VA. So I gave him detailed instructions on how to get here from Manassas — which is where they had stopped. They arrived about 25 minutes later. Dustin and his coworker brought in my coffee table and two end tables. They were nice, hard-working, friendly guys. I live on the 3rd/4th floor, so it is a bit of hike up the stairs with furniture. Dustin asked me if it was hard getting my sofa up the stairs — I replied it was really easy: «I watched the Movers bring it in!» He laughed. I told him when I was his age, I would have tried to move all this stuff myself — but no longer! I inspected the furniture for scratches and damage — finding none I signed off on the paperwork and sent them off on their merry way! Good experience!
