I learned yesterday that this Lenny’s Sub Shop has closed. Sorry to see it go.

My coworkers and I had horrible service at Lenny’s sub shop off college park today. We waited in line for a while before they even realized we hadn’t order yet. So the girl took our order and was very unsure about any questions we had. her and the other guy working there asked us what was in the salad.(umm shouldn’t they know). Well so long story short. all 4 my coworkers got their food and was pretty much almost done they skipped my meal which I asked them about it and they ignored me. They made 5 other customer meals which were behind me and I went to ask for refund and cancel my meal but they wouldn’t and the manager would not make eye contact with me. Never going there again!

Went to this Lenny’s sub shop on College park dr. and had to wait 10 minutes for the owner to argue with the customer in front of me about their groupon, well, when it was my turn, he cheated me on the correct amount of my groupon too, but instead of arguing, I just let it go. He employs non english speaking people, and they had to remake our sandwiches, because they didn’t understand what we wanted on the sandwiches. Even after the re-do, it was still completely wrong. The definitely scrimp on the toppings, and nothing seems fresh. There is no reason to go here. There is a well run Lenny’s just down the road at gosling and research, that is where we will go next time.

Conroe was definitely due for a Lenny’s, and this happens to be an excellent location. I have been here several times. The line moves well during lunch, but not so much to miss out on customer service. I would actually say the customer service is well above average — every time I have been here, the owner has been my cashier and made sure I was satisfied. The«sandwich artist» — sorry Subway, do not skimp on the meat or veggies. Lenny’s is a really solid sandwich chain — more expensive than Subway or Quizno’s, but better quality, fresh cut meat and cheeses. They have hot(like a Philly — or chicken Philly) and cold(standard turkey, club, ect.) sandwiches. Keep in mind the regular is a large sandwich and the large is big enough for two. I like the hot pepper relish — pretty unique topping to Lenny’s and spicy good! I also like that these aren’t «preloaded sandwiches» — ie. they have already designated what toppings go on the sandwich and it is not a hassle to have the sandwich prepared your way. It is a little strange that they do not have trash cans in the eating area. They say they like to take care of the trash for you — so you can just leave it on the table. Anyway, this is a good example of a Lenny’s franchise — friendly, clean, and convenient. Thanks for opening up in a location near my workplace!
