Comfort Inn Columbia Gorge

We were VERY pleased with this place! Asked for an upstairs room, and got exactly what we wanted and MORE! Our room is close to the exit door, so it’s convenient to go that way instead of walking all the way through the hotel! The receptionist made it possible for us to get in two hours early – her name is Metta! This place is 100% smoke-​free, they serve soup in the evenings, and our beds comforter is very soft and squishy – loved it! Made us feel as if feel very welcome! Too many extras to mention. Great Stay! As one who travels a lot I know great service when I see it and this motel has the best! In addition, the room was clean and nicely appointed. A definite recommend! !

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice. We took a fun road trip and made online reservations with Comfort Inn. We were a little apprehensive as we had not stayed at comfort before. But, the reservation process was easy and everyone was friendly. Thank you for making our weekend a great one!

Clean property, nice rooms and friendly staff. Maybe a little overpriced, but it was the Pendleton Roundup weekend so that probably didn’t help.
I was 2 for 2 on pleasant interactions with motel staff. The front desk manager was very friendly and helpful when I checked in. I was checking out about 30 minutes before the breakfast area opened but the friendly lady (different person) invited me to eat early since she was pretty much done setting up.
The property is just off the interstate with a couple gas stations and a McDonalds within walking distance. Not much else nearby but I am sure several places would deliver if called.
I would stay here again.

Very nice rooms — pleasantly decorated, comfortable beds and pillows and very clean. The room was very quiet and we slept great! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the woman taking care of the breakfast room. Great experience!

I have been staying at this hotel once a month for the past 5 years. I drive for a living and was surprised to learn the owner removed the microwave ovens from every room last week. I usually bring my own food so I’m not eating out its healthier. Now I have to stand in line in the hotel kitchen to warm up my dinner! I don’t think I will be staying here anymore.

I continue to stay here on business. My only complaint on my last review was trying to get checked out in a timely manner. That’s changed for the better. Now there is always someone ready to help the guests get checked out. The hotel is still a great, comfortable place to stay with a very helpful staff.

Very nice place. Much better than the back end rooms at Cousins.
Upscale décor. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Swimming pool with spa and a few exercise machines.
Big flat Hd tv, Free Wi-​fi, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds.
Breakfast is really nice. Make your own waffles or grab a bagel.
Maybe sit down at a table an enjoy some fresh eggs or sausage.
How about Hot Oatmeal or just cold cereal. Fruit or fruit juices.
Milk or coffee? All is good.
I would stay here again.
Remember…Get good rates when you have a AAA membership.

This is the best/​cleanest Comfort Inn I have ever stayed in. It was clean, quiet and our stay was perfect. The location is on the outskirts of town with easy access in either direction. They have a saline pool and hot tub which were incredible to swim in. If you’ve never swam in a saline pool and you like to swim, you have to try it, it is SO nice.
Anyway, great place to stay, if you’re ever in the area and need a place to lay your head give this Inn a shot.

Rooms are clean and have a bath tub shower combo. It does have a pool and spa both are small. We paid $ 110 on a friday night for a queen room and two adults.

Nice room but pet fee is a bit high for a one night stay.

This hotel is great but the service is so bad I can barely stand to interact with the staff sometimes. We use this hotel frequently for work and just this morning I was trying to book some of my employees in for about a 2 month stay (= lots of money for this hotel) and the lady was being so weird. At one point she said to me, «ok, I have to go my phone is about to die,.» uhm.!? Your work phone? Why is it going to die? Just confusing. Additionally, they are constantly having problems with their computer system and never seem to know what the heck is going on.
While the hotel is fine and the employees like staying there-​I wish they trained their staff a little bit better on being professional.
