Denny’s always has a great glass of iced tea. It is a great place for friends to go, sit and chat a while. The 2−4−6−8 menu is also great to get something quick and good. The biscuits and gravy with has browns and eggs, $ 4. Perhaps the slam with pancakes, 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, $ 4, or the quesadilla burger, $ 6. Good place to sit and chat and a bit of eats. Service can be slow. Check your order when it comes to the table, make sure all your ingredients from the menu is there, if they say they are out of one, ask for a substitute for the let off ingredient.

Awesome service with amazing food! I usually go at around 2 in the morning, it’s one of the only places open at that hour. My usual waitress, Tricia, is absolutely wonderful! She’s always on point, she keeps my drink full when I run out, and she visits with me. She(and other servers) offers me deserts, points out new items on the menu, and suggests good foods and deserts. The restaurant is clean, and the bathrooms well stocked. The location is pleasant, and it fits in nicely with the surrounding hotels.

This is a fairly typical Denny’s. Service here is typically slower than most, but is balanced out by an very friendly staff.

Food and service is terrible. Most Denny’s are good places for breakfast or a burger, but it’s as if this place isn’t even trying. Management is dismissive when issues are brought to their attention and the only time you can get a server to come to your table is to ask 5 times if you want dessert.

This Denny’s just gets worse with every visit. The servers are horrible, the service is so slow. Last visit it took 15 minutes for a server to come to us. She was nice but very forgetful and super slow. I wish they would just shut it down because the food isn’t even worth it. If i owned a restaurant i would enforce my cooks to try to keep tidy, but every time i look back there, i dont even know if i want to eat my food anymore. Cleanliness and presentation is key. If your cooks look dirty, im pretty sure you wouldn’t want to eat the food either

This Denny’s has started to go down hill. The service is slow and too much oil is used on the grill things that should taste fresh like a vegi omlete come out soggy with oil. If it’s dinner time and you just want a hamburger I highly recommend you go to the Copper Steer and get some good food for about the same cost.

Good food an GREAT service. We always go there after choir concerts. I like their salads the best, but their breakfast foods and smoothies are also yummy! We did have a long wait, but it was super busy. The people at the table next to us were giving the waiters a hard time, but they ended up getting free food. The waiters were very calm despite the ruckus.

There aren’t a to of choices in the Safford/thatcher area. The are even fewer after 10:00 pm. Everywhere we went was closed, so I was forced to dine at Denny’s. The food selection and preparation is diner typical; however Denny’s has added several healthier options. I had the grilled salmon with broccoli and multi-grain rice. I expected the broccoli to be drowning in butter as is typical at a diner; however this broccoli was neither overcooked nor swimming in fat which I liked. The salmon was a bit dry but to me that’s better than it being Fried in grease. My husband had a very tasty salad with cranberries and candid pecans, multiple types of lettuce and sliced grilled chicken breasts The waitress was very good and very friendly but as is typical they were a bit understaffed however the waitress did not become unpleasant. I would definitely eat there again.

There aren’t quite a lot of quality choices to eat in Thatcher and Safford but you can’t go wrong with this Denny’s along Highway 70. They’re not a grungy Denny’s by any means also. And best of all, they have a steak salad that has some really high quality beef rather than just«freezer beef.»
