Ocean Cabaret

Worst club in Texas. Don’t go here. Here’s my story of one of the worst experiences I have ever had:
You walk in and the whole place smells like rancid shrimp. My buddy went to sit down in a very outdated chair and had to ask for a new one because it was so badly soiled. The chair mysteriously glowed under the blacklight. Some girls were very kind and polite. One however was not. We will never go back as a result of our experience with her. One would think that if a dancer saw a group of 20 guys tossing money in the air at all of the other dancers that she would be eager to join in the fun. This dancer instead insulted all of us. We were actually called «cheap» after she was given money to dance for the bachelor. The dance didn’t last long after she insulted us. After learning of her statement we all decided to leave. All 20 of us usually come down to Tiki Island at least once a year to party. This year we will not be going back to Ocean Cabaret. 6 months after our experience I ran to 3 other friends who had just returned from Galveston and they had nearly the exact same experience with the exact same dancer. The club now has 23 potential customers that will not return. The dancers name in question is Megan Reece. I believe she should be evaluated by management and if other complaints have been filed they should also be taken into consideration. When asked I now tell everyone not to go to this location and instead recommend making the drive into Houston for a more upscale experience. This club gets 1-​star because of one rude performer.

After decades of driving past this place my buddy dragged me in here… I honestly didn’t know what to expect but the staff was super friendly and the girls were very attractive. beats most clubs in Houston. $ 20 cover and byob ;-)
