I came to the VA clinic here in Texas City and had an hour wait. I asked if there was a café nearby. Everyone pointed to this wonderful café just a few doors down. Sitting here I have seen some medical staff come in for their regular. The personnel are extremely friendly, caring, and very knowledgeable when it comes to coffee. The owners Tim and Margie have definitely set the right setting. WOW! The coffee menu is extensive! The prices are sooooo low. What a deal! I also like the sitting area which is comfortable and varied in seats. I also found out that the profits goes back to helping people locally and overseas! If you are in the area how can you not stop by???

Great little spot for some quality coffee. Every time I visit this area I swing in for a pecan flavored coffee — delicious! Everyone there has a smile and quick to say good morning.

Ok so I was over by the Mall of the Mainland scoping it out as my headquarters for the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse. It was a daunting task and I needed some caffeine to get me through. Using Unilocal I was able to locate some caffeine at a place called Coffee Connection which was right next door. Its a simple place and it turns out is a non profit as well. All the employees are volunteers. Now they may not be Starbucks quality Baristas but they were extremely friendly and they made me a decent Cappuccino and my daughter a caramel Frappé. The prices were reasonable. It seems they have live music on some nights. All in all a nice place to get your caffeine fix and give back to the community.
