We always go here to buy our kids Birthday Party pizzas at the Tewksbury location. On Jan 2 I ordered $ 179.00(10 pizzas) and realized i had the menu that expired on 12⁄31. Asked if i could use a coupon out of that and was told no. Then could i have a new menu with updated coupons and could you take that one out? Again told no, end of conversation. So couldn’t give me $ 5.00 off $ 25.00 order or instead give me 2 cheese for $ 19.99 with an order that big? We won’t be back.

I don’t know what it was, but I went here Sunday and the pizza was unbelievable. I’ve had Sal’s many times over the years, but I have never tried their BBQ Chicken Pizza. They informed me it comes 2 ways, white or red. White meant BBQ sauce was the actual pizza sauce. The guy at the counter was really funny joking around with us and the girl who was working was very friendly as well. As for the pizza, it has been some time since I had a fresh pie that I ate while in Sal’s but man this was good. Tender chicken and solid BBQ sauce. Sometimes Sal’s can be too«doughy» it wasn’t this time. I will be back.

Not impressed. It almost seemed like the pizza wasn’t cooked enough, but I was told by others that this is how they make their pizzas. Ok, if that is your taste. The onions and mushrooms gave flavor to an otherwise pedestrian pie.

After having a bad interaction with the Billerica Sal’s Pizza(see review on that page) we came here and I am so glad we did. The staff was busy, as it was a Friday night, but they were professional, kind and polite. I even heard one of the guys apologize profusely when they realized that they had run out of meatballs for a «meat lovers pizza.» They work hard, in an incredibly hot shop, and they all still managed to have smiles on their faces! From now on, whenever I have a craving for Sal’s awesome pizza, I will always bring my business here. It is hard to find places with good customer service these days, and these workers know just how to do it. =)

Sal’s Pizza was open when the lights of Tewksbury, Wilmington, and all of the surrounding towns were out of power! The place was being run on a generator, but that warm slice of pizza made my day!
