I really like this place. Nice neighborhood bar with friendly staff.

This place was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service was great. The wait wasn’t long at all, and I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

The place has potential but not with current management. When I go out to smoke I feel like I should be in a Dutch bakery. And when I performed there the poles were so bad I think back and say I have no idea how I got my start there. Also the drinks are expensive and hardly worth it. The bartenders can’t concoct anything of their own or have knowledge of simple drinks for a gay bar I’m shocked that they didn’t know how to make something as simple as a gummy bear. The regular crowd is trash and I rarely saw a pretty faced new comer come back. My friends and I often make fun of this place and not because it’s a gay bar. This place is a dive and the bar manager has offended several of my pretty female friends and roofied a drink of a very good friend of mine we won’t go back and we all discourage a trip to zimmarss to people often. Unless u want to get roofied.

DON’T EXPECTTOOMUCH Zimmarss is as strange as its name… and with no food, we’re not sure there is a mention of restaurant in the name. Maybe Unilocal has the name wrong. The place is usually not very busy and can be somewhat cliquish(for no reason) if anyone does arrive. Locals complain about the owner, but we don’t know if we’ve ever seen him or not. There is no presence of ownership or management… usually just the bartender. We sense the place is all about the owner and not the customer, so that kind of explains why it sits empty. It’s always sad when a proprietor acts like he or she is doing someone a favor by being open. Sometimes there is entertainment at Zimmarrs, so be prepared to pay a cover charge on weekends… one of the few in Terre Haute. It’s an okay old place, but you can meet people anywhere, including online… and its unlikely they’ll say, «Let’s go to Zimmarss!»
