I agree with Stephanie on her review in terms of the staff. I was surprised to see that there were not more negative reviews of this facility.
I have been living here in a furnished studio apartment since September. Let me start by saying I have had nothing but the poorest of service by the staff. The Land Lord (some b**ch with short black hair and a superiority complex) has given me nothing but grief since the moment I moved in here. I have complained about the disgusting smell of rotten vegetation that overwhelms you the moment you step into the hall since the first week. The response is always «We’ll look into it.» Several months later it is still present. I have complained about my neighbors letting their kids play in the hallway. They are loud (I have to sleep during the day) and always have their balls or whatever bang on my door. The response I got was both an irritated and skeptical one plus the usual «We will look into it.» Several months later the matter is not resolved and I have had to talk to my neighbors personally which no resident should have to do. The laundromat they provide looks like it has no upkeep. I have only seen a janitor in there once (I hope you guys like washing your clothes in other people’s body hair!) The washing machines and driers are always filthy and often other people leave their clothes in the machine for hours on end (another complaint which was ignored.)
The last straw which is the cause of this review came the other day. I have been smelling a funky odor for a few weeks now. I suspect one of my neighbors is smoking pot and I don’t want to be around that (I work for a news station for Christ sake!) I filed a complaint and got the usual «We’ll look into it!» Great. Well I ran into my landlord in the hallway the other day as she was going into my neighbors apartment. I thought «Great! They are finally doing their job!» She was friendly and said «Hi!» To me as we passed. About a hour later she calls me and makes false accusations that the smell is coming from my apartment and threatens to call the cops. I could only laugh at it. Sure go ahead and call the cops. I don’t smoke pot and never have and she is basically mad at me for making her get off her a** and actually do her job for once.
It is easy to be fooled by this place. It is nice. The apartment itself is nice. They provide a workout room, pool, and ponds for fishing. It is close to the parks, Walmart and Meyers now. The staff was really nice to me UNTIL I signed the papers. At that point I was just dollar signs for them to ignore until rent was due. You don’t deserve to have this sort of treatment and I recommend looking for alternatives.

My husband and I lived here for over a year. We started off in a Studio; which was what you would expect from a studio. I did like the way it actually had a closed off «bedroom». We then moved up to a one bedroom that we were in for about 7 months due to us expecting. The apartment was well sized and laid out well. Our complaints come from the office ladies. I was hounded everytime my daughter was with me. (she didn’t reside there but would visit) everytime she was with me one or more would be on my case about «occupancy limits». They were down right rude. Then when we moves out of the apartment (IN law states 45days for a deposit to be returned) We have been calling them non stop and I was assured a week ago, which was the mark of 45 days, that the check was in the mail. It has now been well over a week past dye legally and we are getting no answers. And to clarify we were due to receive all of our deposit back except for the fee they charge standard for carpet cleaning and one 30 $ charge for a set of blinds that I damaged when I pushed a dresser too close to the window.(Oops!) So over all the facilities and complex is decent, nothing fancy, you have the expected loud neighbors occasionally, but thw staff make it near miserable.
