What a great store with excellent finds! I love coming here to shop for my 3 boys when I’m in town. I always manage to find great deals on new(to me) outfits and shoes and often score toys and books for a fraction of the price of what I’d pay in a big box retailer. The staff is friendly and super helpful. I can’t wait for my next visit in town to shop again.

This store is not that great. It’s dirty and there isn’t much to choose from. They charge too much for their clothing. You could pay an extra couple bucks and get something brand new at Gymboree on the clearance rack. It’s not really worth going to. We live in Terre Haute, but drive to the ones in Indy to get better things and better prices. I only saw the owner one time when I was in there and she wasn’t very pleasant. It appears she isn’t fun to work for. Most of the clothing in there is very worn and if it’s from a store like Gymboree, that mark it up so high that it’s not worth buying. Again, you can go to Gymboree and get something new on sale for the same price! They don’t have much for toys and their winter coats this last year were marked at $ 30! I pay less than that at Macy’s with their sales for brand new! I think this is mostly due to the fact that Terre Haute is a very low income city, so they probably don’t get a lot of high end items. My children wear designer clothing that i would bring in, but they offer you about $ 18 for $ 3000 worth of clothing. So I sell my stuff on Ebay! So if you need something quick, its a good place to go so you can avoid the mall, but it’s not a great place for a good deal. If they would lower their prices by even $ 1, I woould probably go more than once a quarter! The staff is nice though and it’s nice that they know me when I do come in.

Place needs a good scrub down. Racks are too full of merchandise and a bit overpriced ie. Walmart brand clothes $ 5. I think I’d rather pay the extra $ 1 for new. Women behind the counter need to realize they are cashiers and a resale shop and not on top of the world. Had a run in with the owner about a coupon… She is not the most honest person in the world. If your traveling through, check out the ones in Indy. Not worth the stop.
