Great wine, this place really takes its family heritage seriously and it is a super nice touch. Generous pours. Will be coming back!

All their wine is excellent and the atmosphere is great! Loved all their wines… clarnet and the red naughty donati was my hubby’s and my favorites, but all their wines are good! Will definitely be back again!

Ezio is the superstar of this winery. A very fortunate blend that evolves beautiful. The inmigrant is good, but not very impressive. Whites: Sauvignon blanc is the best. Downside: they sell the water, so be prepared for that if you want to clean your palate between tastes.

It’s my second wine tasting on the Central Coast. It definitely feels like they’re trying to attract people here but you can find some really good wineries great tastings with good value compared to the touristy Napa and Sonoma Valley areas of California. If your wine tasting expert I would recommend a day or two visit to this area.

The tasting room was pleasant but lacked any character or charm. They do have some family history and photos on the walls. The folks serving the wine were friendly and very low-key. As of this date they charged $ 10 for 5 pours. The wines here just weren’t for me; not bad but I had no interest in buying anything. Still, I’d say stop by and give it a try as I seem to be in the minority.

Always one of our first stops during our drive into Paso Robles. Cute tasting room and Melissa our server is super friendly and knowledgable. Ezio and Merlot are our favorite!

We have had some amazing visits to wineries in Paso Robles, this unfortunately was not one of them. I’m not sure if our pourer was having a bad day or if she just didn’t care since we were there with a free tasting coupon from the Bed and Breakfast we were staying at in Cambria. We were the only people in the place but she had no interest in helping us in any way. We tried to engage her in conversation, asking her about the origin of the grapes they used. She told us that if we were really interested we could look at the map on the wall. I think this if the first winery we actually left without a purchase.

Lovely ladies waited on us. Bought a full case which is rare for me. Cab reserve of course was smooth and bole the way I like it. The unoaked chard not too, shabby.

Lovely tasting room that feels like you’re in someone’s house. Friendly staff and generous pours for tastings. They are not very strict on the number of tastes you are restricted to either. They had great deals on cases or half-cases of wine while we were there and we were able to mix and match for a great price! They also do a lovely job with decorating the house and grounds for the holidays!

this place was awesome! it wasnt on our list but, we were driving by and decided to stop in. the guy(i wish i could remember his name… but, you all know about my short term memory!) was awesome! he answered all of our questions, not just about their wine, but about the area in general. i told him that this would be our first stop next time so that he can be our tour guide! we ended up buying a jug(thats right, i said jug) of their Naughty Donati white wine. it comes in this glass jug that looks like an old moonshine jug! im not usually a fan of gimmicky things like this, but it was so good, we just had to do this. if you want a great experience and some good wine, you gotta stop in here!

What a lovely vineyard this turned out to be. We visited several vineyards on our trip and this was one of our favorites. The staff was inviting, attentive and knowledgeable. I couldn’t ask for more!

$ 65 for a case of tasty Pinot Grigio! This was a super bargain; the rest of their menu is reasonably priced too. Their ‘07Cab is good too. What is particularly unusual are their dessert wines, a white and a Cabernet Franc. Not syrupy sweet like most dessert wines; very fruity and flavorful. Glad we stopped by.

I am personally a fan of white wines and this vineyard did not have a big selection on my preferred choice. With that said the little bit of reds that I did taste they were good. On that note the set up is beautiful, they have views for days. I could just sit in their window forever and look at the endless vineyards. Something that kinda annoyed me was that the gentleman serving us our tasting hovered, he never left our side. It was kinda strange. I like a little breathing room to discuss our thoughts on the tasting.

This was one of our five stops on the Wine Line tour in Paso Robles through a Groupon deal I bought. Overall I was a huge fan of the Paso Robles wine region. So many amazing wines! This winery was definitely a great stop, but lacked a little of the charm and scenery of some of the others. I really enjoyed the Syrah on the tasting menu. Probably not my favorite winery of the day, but i still enjoyed my visit.

First stop on our wine tasting tour with The Wine Wrangler was at the Donati Family Vineyard. Our group of 8 was expected and they were ready for us and we got started downing wine samples right away. The staff knowledgeable but didn’t come across as arrogant as they were very friendly and pleasant. They were also very interactive with the crowd as they provided our group with mustaches for photo ops and kept pouring samples until we left. They have a check in special — 15% off your purchase.

Great whites and reds – they are offered in two different tastings. The red is a $ 10 taste, and the whites are a $ 5 taste. We opted for the reds, and then they asked if we’d like to revisit any of the wines. The atmosphere was laid back, and the ladies who worked there were funny. Hubby asked if we could taste some whites, and even though one ought not go from red to white, they weren’t pretentious about it at all. We ended up getting a very reasonably priced bottle of pinot blanc and no tasting fee for the whites or reds. There is a picnic area that is quiet and shaded. We’d definately go back again.
