Don’t let the obscure façade of the facility fool you. This place is actually pretty good. I ordered the gyros sandwich with two orders of beef samosa and two orders of chicken samosa. It definitely filled me up. I was unable to eat two of the samosas that I ordered. The Gyro was delicious, however, the meat was just a tad bit overdone. The samosas were quite tasty themselves. Full of meat and and were accompanied with a sauce that I’m not quite sure exactly what it was. The sauce had a little bit of a kick but not much at all. This place has definitely gained a customer with me. I encourage anyone in the Temple area to try this place. They do have weird times that they are open. As of this writing I believe that they’re open from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. and then reopen from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. I will be adding photos of the food that I ordered along with an updated menu.

Note hrs are mislabeled on Unilocal. It’s open 10−2pm &5−9pm. It’s definitely a hole in the wall place attached to a gas station. I tried 3 dishes: the lamb shank over rice, the chicken biryani and the dahl. The lamb was fall off the bone tender and simply seasoned but very tasty. The rice was well cooked a flavorful also. The chicken Biryani was moist and aromatic. I like that it did not contain raisins as some do but that’s just my personal preference. The Dahl was killed with to much fresh garlic in it. Overall a good place to take out from but I wouldn’t dine in & I’d stay away from the Dahl. I’ll be back for more of that lamb though

Hole in the wall! Food is really good. Prices are different from picture of menu posted. Only downside is sometimes not all dishes on menu are available.

I very much enjoyed my lunch here! It looks a little suspect being attached to a gas station and all! There’s Mexican &BBQ in Temple, and this is a nice change! It’s a very cozy hole in the wall, but the food is good. I got the lamb and my friend got the chicken biryani, both were delicious! I want to go back to try more of the dishes!

Very good food friendly service… If you have not tried any middle eastern dishes I urge you to try this place.

Just ate lunch here with a few friends. First, it’s definitely a hole in the wall. I tend to like these sorts of eateries though, so no biggie there. Plain, 2 small tables tightly packed into a small space, very few decorations. The good: the food. Good flavor. I had the Chicken Karahi– peppers, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and some other spices just melted together for wonderful flavor. My friend had the seikh chicken kebab– he said it tasted good. The other person with us had a gyro but didn’t comment on it. Looked ok, though! The not so good: the dishes are not all served with rice and/or pita. It’s a separate thing to order. The portions are fair sized, but don’t expect leftovers. The day we went they were out of a number of dishes(only had a few from which to pick), and were also out of rice(so no rice with my dish, even if I wanted to pay extra!). It also took a while to get the food, as there’s only one person working there, and at one point she had to go next door to get change for someone who paid cash. The dishes are cooked in a tiny little kitchen, and it looks more like they’re reheated from stuff that has been cooked and is stored in a single refrigerator(definitely true for my dish– no way that could have been cooked in the time we were there). I heard a microwave beeping and running at one point. Some of the dishes may actually be better reheated since the flavors can meld longer… But still… A microwave? Maybe I’m just biased… All said, though, the food tasted good enough that I want to go back and try it again, and hopefully they will have what I’m looking to try. Definitely a nice change of pace for the area! Three stars for the wait, the lack of dishes that were available, smaller portions, and the extra $ 2 I would have had to spend on rice, had they had any.

I’m definitely a fan of Zarab’s Kabobs. This new place popped up next to the Conoco Gas Station a few weeks ago(same owners), they saw the need to have quality Mediterranean and Pakistani cuisine and I think they’re doing a great job filling that gap. I caught the new muriel sign next to this gas station’s entrance and stopped in to check out the fuss. The small white building to the left has an «OPEN» sign and I walked inside — — very small place, 2 picnic tables, not a lot of space, and they’re just getting their feet wet here but the husband and wife here run the show and they are extremely nice and accomodating. He was offering free samples of their food to help promote sales, it looked very tasty and it’s all of his wife’s recipes. So far I’ve had the Chicken Paratha for $ 2.99 a wrap it’s very good. I love the bread that’s used as the wrap — — very chewy and tasty, the chicken was very flavorful, and it’s well priced. I also had the other Chicken Dish(shown with leg quarter) which comes with jasmine rice and some veggies — — it was well seasoned and very tasty. They gave me a sample of their fried offerings — — all of which were very tasty good, one was potato and the other was veggie. I got a couple of the samosas which I also liked, the seasoning is just right and not too strong or overpowering. I really like the sauces they have, a yogurt sauce and a red sweeter sauce — — both compliment the dishes very well and I always ask for more and they are always very nice and generous about it. The rice served here is definitely a different type of jasmine, has a stronger flavor to it which I liked as well. They are still working on the seating and ambience, the 2 picnic tables would fit about 6 – 8 comfortably with little or no A/C, all drinks and bathroom are located next door in the gas station, but it’s a great place for pick-up or to-go orders — which he has mentioned you could call ahead of time and they’ll have it ready for you to pick up. I’ve seen many locals come in and order large amounts of their food for parties and catering, especially the samosas and Chicken Paratha wraps, and they are open until 8:30−9pm from Monday to Saturday and they get a good lunch and dinner rush here — — lots of repeat customers which is definitely a good sign. They are very nice people, always friendly and eager to please. They just got a new sign put up today(see pic) and new food pics plus she mentioned they will be adding new menu items very soon that include lamb. LAMB! AWESOME! It’s very well priced here and you get good bang for your buck, a weekly stop for me.
