Walking past this RadioShack yesterday, I realized it is no longer there anymore. This location has unfortunately succumbed to being one of 4,000 stores in the U.S. subjected to closure. Am I surprised? Not really. Major competition has destroyed this once mighty corporation, along with other traditional brick-and-mortar retailers. I recall only coming here once in search of a fuse for a portable 12V cooler. Interestingly, the local Lowe’s didn’t have one and this location did — so, RadioShack still had somewhat of a viable niche in this perspective. As far as customer service, there were none to speak of. The sole employee was too absorbed on her cell phone to even notice that we were there and couldn’t be bothered to greet or help us find what we needed, so we were basically left to our own devices. Luckily, we found what we were looking for. Deuces.
