Usually love Beef’s but the service at this location is awful. It’s never really busy so I’m not sure what the delay in service is but it IS slow.

Dakota was our server. Girl was everything. Amazing server. No tude. No shade. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap special before 7 which was only $ 7.50. Beer specials for $ 2. What more could you want?! Will be back. Cya soon Dakota!

After reading the reviews here, we decided to take a chance tonight. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. My husband ordered the Swiss mushroom burger with pub chips and I ordered the personal size white pizza. Our server said she had a gift for me when the food was served… a full-size white pizza was made instead of the personal size! We both loved our food and I was able to share a slice of pizza with my husband as well as bringing half of it home. We will definitely be back again!

It’s sad when you see new owners who don’t know how to run a restaurant and have no restaurant experience try. The food is fine, and the drink prices are good… but in the last year they have lost around 7 bartenders(not kidding) and I just witnessed the current bartender leave and before she left she was telling the cook how to poor a beer so he could«watch the bar.» The terrible management is the result to why this place will fail… but I guess take advantage of the good drink specials…

I want to give this place a one start review, but I feel that for an establishment to «deserve» one star, everything from the food, to the customer service, to the atmosphere has to be terrible. So I came here a couple times to watch a couple of the World Cup matches. The last time I was here(last week) I ordered the deep fried pickles and wings(spicy garlic and mango habanero). The deep fried pickles were terrible. Do not, I repeat, do not get these. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and save yourself the money and do not order these. The breading was thin, mushy, and salty, bleh. Let’s talk about the mango habanero wings. It tasted like Bonne Belle Chapstick. It was so bad. It was a cross between Chapstick and scented candles. The spicy garlic wings weren’t terrible, but nothing could have been as terrible as the mango habanero wings, so I guess the jury is still out on the spicy garlic wing sauce. So, all in all, the food was terrible, but everything else was fine. (If you are looking for somewhere to eat in the temple terrace area that is a sports bar, go to Shamrock’s. Their wings and deep fried pickles are amazing, plus their draft list is more extensive).

**New Management as of 11/2013** We visited this Beef’s location on Saturday night because we were both craving some wings. It was storming outside, so we decided to pull in and eat while waiting for the rain to pass. This Beef’s is located at the end of a shopping plaza off 56th street, just north of Busch. There is plenty of parking both in front and on the side of the restaurant. As we walked in we first noticed how clean the interior was. Everything looked new and fresh. The hostess greeted us within the first few seconds and led us to a booth. There was a NFL playoff game happening at the time and there were PLENTY of televisions to get a 360 view of the game! There are even mini televisions at each table which customers can control and change(like for non-football fans like me, who would rather watch Food Network!) ;) The hostess took our drink orders while the waitress brought us menus. As we went through the huge menu(we were surprised to see how many new items were offered), the owner of this particular Beef’s came to our table, greeted us and even suggested a few of her favorites off the menu(like the white pizza). She was friendly, warm and welcoming and gave our experience that«Cheers» feel. I noticed her doing the same thing with every table, giving personal attention when needed. This was a pretty busy Saturday evening, so that attention was a nice touch. Our food was out in about 15 minutes. The wings were tasty, fresh and piping hot. They were sauced just right, tender and juicy. We both cleaned our baskets and took a to-go order of wings for a family member. Overall we were very impressed by our dinner and will be returning back to this location! The atmosphere was great, service was perfect, management was warm and inviting, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. It’s amazing what new management can bring, so give this Beef’s another chance if you haven’t been in a while! :)

We ordered the prime rib sandwich and the omg burger. Neither was particularly impressive. The picture of the prime rib sandwich looked nothing like the picture. It was more like a cheap Philly cheesesteak. There was probably triple the bread to the amount of meat. Pretty sad. The only saving grace was the pub chips, and a good portion of those were soggy. The burger was mediocre at best. It was sadly overcooked. This is the first and probably last time we will eat here.

First time at any Beef O’Bradys and we were lured by a $ 5 off coupon. I Had a beer to start waitress said Killians were $ 1 right now and I was charged $ 2 each on the bill. Wife had signature sangria which seemed devoid of anything alcoholic so ordered a shot of brandy to put in it and we were not charged for that so a wash on the beer pricing. Friday all you can eat fish fry… my wife ordered it and it was actually quite tasty. I had OMG sliders which also were quite good save for the dry tasting«pretzel rolls». I don’t know what the attraction to pretzel rolls is… I am yet to eat a good one! My big problem with this restaurant was the sloooow service and waiting times for food to come out. Bartender was our waitress because we sat at a table in the bar and although not more than 4 parties, it was taking a long time for everything. Wife ordered a second dish of fish for the AYCE and it took like 20 minutes. When fish came, seeing that it took a while my wife ordered a beignet for desert. while we waited about 15 minutes the waitress came over with the check and said sorry the kitchen was backed up. Now I look around and this place is about 1⁄3 full. I said okay, and looked at the check and the beignet was on it as well as a side of chocolate sauce we never ordered! After another 20 minutes or so the beignet made it out with it’s side of «chocolate» that was, and here is the kicker, barbeque sauce! The beinet tasted bad by itself but my wife is still trying to get the bbq sauce and fried dough taste out of her mouth. I told the server I could not pay for the desert and she took it off the check. Our server was very nice. But, come on! What the heck is going on in the kitchen?

I ordered 12 boneless wings, sweet jalapeño and garlic parmesan. They were absolutely tasteless. I actually couldn’t taste any difference between them. By the tenth one i couldn’t stomach the last two. I also ordered onion rings, which took forever to come and looked like they came from the bottom of the frozen bag. The exposed onions were burned. The only bright side was my drink.

Food = nom Drinks = PASS! Service = friendly, mostly attentive This was my first time at a Beef O’Brady’s. The bf ordered some sliders, I ordered a burger with a side salad for a $ 2 extra charge. Salad wasn’t bad at all, but $ 2 extra compared to french fries? For lettuce, cheese, croutons, two onion slices and a small container of dressing? Come on, guys. *stamps it with a big NOPE.* The bf had a jack and coke and I ordered my usual long island. His wasn’t bad, but my long island was mostly sour mix — coming from someone who is so prone to a hangover for having too much sugar in their drinks, this was my kryptonite. I try not to ever leave a fallen soldier, but I left a couple of sips left in my one long island on the table because it was too stuffed with sour mix without the perk of actual liquor. Our entrees were delicious, but, I will not vote for BO’B again in a social circle. Enthusiasm level: Meh.

Have been here a few times now and got to say it maybe the best Beefs I’ve been to. The staff is great and our right there when you need something. Have a really good beer selection on tap. So far all the food has been good so we’ll be back. I do have one complaint that’s the Gator stuff but that’s only because I’m a LSU fan.

So, they’ve been open about a week now. Considering the building use to be a Blockbuster Video, the inside looks pretty amazing. My wife and I arrived around 8pm on a Thursday night. There was no waiting, we got a booth right away. We were greeted by two very lovely ladies who treated us as if they were actually happy to see us. Our servers name was Daniella. A perky little thing. I asked how long she had been a waitress and she admitted that Beefs was her first gig. At that moment, my expectations went way down. We had a coupon for free chips and queso so we started with that. I ended up ordering the steak taco’s and my wife got a kids pizza with curly fries. First off, the queso was really yummy, the only down side was that they put«CORN» in it. I have traveled far and wide in the country and have NEVER had queso with corn in it. Again, the flavor was spot on but seeing pieces of yellow corn kind of put me off on it. The chips were fresh, soft and salty — just the way we like them. The steak taco’s were actually excellent. The steak they use is a skirt steak. Tender and lots of flavor. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have a better taco sauce or salsa to put on them. The salsa they provided was very bland, virtually no flavor at all. I commented to my wife the next time we go I will have to «smuggle» in some good salsa as the steak nacho’s look out of this world. Since we got the chips and queso for free, I decided to get the nacho’s on our next visit. My wife’s pizza was not bad. Too much cheese for my tastes but I am not a cheese person. My wife seemed to like it a lot. The pizza sauce was good and zesty and the pepperoni was good just too much cheese for my tastes. I did get a chance to speak to the manager(Jennifer) and told her about my disappointment in the queso. She was very friendly and seemed to be genuinely concerned with my comments. She said that she would pass the suggestion on and I have no reason to doubt her. Overall, we left very full and even took some pizza home. Oh, as for the«new» girl Daniella, she totally ROCKED. Was better than some servers we’ve had that had made a career out of serving. We will ask for her the next time. I would have given it 5 stars but I can’t mentally get over the whole corn in the queso concept. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more items on the menu.
