i still say popeyes is 2 high for wat they offer 4 piece combo is like 11 bucks n once again the side order a kid wont get full cause they give u a little bit. but other then that the chicken is good n the sides have good flavor…

Kind of hood! Food is ok but not the best. If you want some quick food this is the spot. Everything was hot and taste great.

Good service I mean it was a little ghetto but it was cool. I ordered five stripes cooked fresh. Most restaurants get upset when they bring out fresh food and people want new food. This location handled it well the strips came out three minutes prior to me walking in and no complaints. I cant give 5 stars because no one wants to feel like they need a gun to go purchase fast food lol a lot of people hanging in front of the store front many customers pulled up and left due to 10 – 15 people just hanging in front of the store.

For a FAST FOOD restaurant — there is absolutely NOTHING going on that is FAST in here.
I had to wait 15 minutes for mild chicken to be cooked on a Friday night!
If I wasnt accustom to being in «the hood» I would have been terrified of my surroundings. Too many creepy old men just coming in and out of the store.
There is not a drive-​thru at this location.
Police often hangout in the parking lot as it gets darker.
Not sure why I continue to come here. I guess Im hoping that the service is better everytime I go — it seems to get worse.
The upside: the store is ALWAYS clean inside and the workers are very nice.

I’m a chicken person. I absolutely love chicken, especially in the fried variety. It was one of the reasons I was so psyched about seeing a Popeye’s near the place I just bought my first apartment. When it comes to chicken, I’m convinced that can’t nobody do it better than KFC. And after eating at Popeye’s (which coincidentally, Beyonce has a lifetime membership to), I have come to the conclusion that… KFC is still the undisputed leader in making great chicken. This place looks really nice with cool Louisiana murals plastered on the wall and all of that, but the service was kind of shady. The people just acted like they didn’t care. Basically it was a «hi, I’m here because I have to stand here if I wanna pay rent, and here’s your chicken, too» kinda deal I got. Maybe it’s the area, perhaps it was the day I don’t know. But I do know that Popeye’s is NOT nearly as good as those they emmulate. And they say immitation is the highest form of flattery. Lies, all lies.
