Prior to making our reservation I asked about restaurants in the area And I was assured there within walking distance. When I walked outside The hotel I could not locate one. When I asked the clerk for better Directions she was curt and I guess I will need to look on my own. This country inn and suites does not live up to the standards of Other country inns. It’s dirty and run down. We are flying out In the morning or I would look for another hotel. I would suggest anyone looking for a hotel prior to flying out Look for another place to stay, the clerk on Wednesday Dec 2 Was not a good example of the country inn and suite standard.

I just wanted to say this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I am even a Carlson Club member and the workers and management didn’t give a rip about it. I went to spend time for one night and it was the worst night ever. I even left and didn’t even complete the night because the workers didn’t answer the phone at the front desk, when I did complain they were like OHWELL deal with it. They did give me the managers number and I tried calling her 2x on Monday and Tuesday and she never responded back. I guess thats where the workers get their attitude from. Totally horrible experience and I would say STAYFARAWAY from this hotel in the future

After reading the Unilocal reviews, I decided to stay here to visit the ASU campus. Even though it is a bit far(walkable but who wants to walk in the 90s weather?), they have the convenient shuttle service to the campus and back. Also there is the free shuttle service to the airport as well. The shuttle drivers were great! Not only they were very kind, they gave us insights on the university as they themselves were students. The room was spacious and clean, and was quiet although there was an adult entertainment across the street. The breakfast was good too. Coffee, cookies, and popcorn are available at the lobby. Great value!

Best hotel for the price in Tempe. Convenient to campus(short drive) and airport. Usually stay at The Mission Palms(which is extremely convenient to ASU), but has become extremely pricey. Country Inn is Clean, roomy, great beds, and super staff.

Very affordable in the off-season(like 75 bucks) and had a free breakfast/popcorn too boot. Also has a coffee bar in the lobby

This was a very amenable find. I got it for $ 80+ tax. The regular rates are $ 149 – 199 and for that money I would be less than thrilled. It’s serviceable, very country kitsch, but certainly not luxury! They have a pool, hot tub, and a reasonable continental breakfast. Everything was clean and the showers were hot!
