Best BBQ in the area! Huge portions which can almost guarantee a box to go. Staff is nice and the beer is cold! Highly recommend the beef ribs!!!

They had me with their complimentary biscuits alone!(With apple butter). Aside from its obvious name, their BBQ is amazing and fall of the bone tender! Took my husband here for the first time and it’s definitely one of his all time favorites. The ambiance is classic and the wait time isn’t as bad as it looks. I love that we can bring our four year old, no problem! Great ice tea too! Love places that use mason jars as cups!

The building is a cool mid century design. But the food is pricey and you don’t get much. Plus, it’s not very good. So, overpriced food that isn’t very good, but you don’t get much. Huh. I’d go elsewhere.

I am posting this for my mother. She and her girlfriend came for dinner the night before last and she got the most pathetic order of appetizer rib tips imaginable! She spoke with the waitress about it and the waitress argued with her and said this is the rib tips we’ve always served and my mother said no they’re tiny little pieces and they are dried up and they’re nothing like they used to be! Either they need to get better quality rib tips or get rid of the cook!

The food is awesome would have gave it a 5 star except the wait is long. On friday and weekends call in first because the wait is over an hour. The chicken and ribs are super good. Ribs can be spicy mild or plain like I order them and just put as little sauce as I want. The banana pudding is so… good. Take some home for later. Love their biscuits and ice tea in mason jars.

Horrible food all bland. Service Stunk. The runner handed me a tray of baby backs and the plate was about 1000 degrees. Daughter and brother had the fried chicken they said it was ok. Wife had the brisket sandwich and it was bland as well. Dried out horribly. My first review was about horrible service without ever eating came back to give it a second and the food was horrible. The food spent more time under the heat lamp than in the oven.

Went to Lucilles to celebrate a birthday. They were very accommodating for a large party of 13. Food was absolutely delicious. Good sized portions and worth every penny. Our server Jamie was awesome. Very attentive girl and got all of our orders correct. I know that could be a difficult task to tackle with a party of 13. The rest of the staff including the kitchen staff were awesome. To our surprise, they all took it upon themselves to sign a birthday card and deliver it to the birthday boy. Along with a very tasty birthday desert. No embarrassing birthday song, just nice and subtle. Very enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to go back.

Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Terrible!!! Tried to make a reservation for 8, and I was told that a reservation was not available(but we could walk in and wait). My family arrived at 4:45pm, and the hostess informed me that seating for 8 would not be available until 9pm!!! 4 hour wait and there was no one in the restaurant. When we were leaving, a server tried to save the business by saying she could take us «and push two tables together». Too late, please for the sake of your business, train your hostess to manage seating.

I’ve been to Lucilles seven times in general and three times at this location. Every time I come here I always get a full platter and their baby back ribs. The meats are very juicy and tasty; they even give you extra signature sauces of theirs. I particularly like their biscuits and apple butter. You can always ask them for more and even Togo. I think their prices are reasonable if you know the trick. You can get 2 gift cards(total value of $ 100) for only $ 75 at the Costco near their locations. Their service is excellent. The waiters are friendly and understanding. For this location in Temecula, I would say the restaurant is very nice and spacious. Besides the recommended dishes, other dishes are just okay.

Lucille’s was great I was really happy to see this place when me and Ty were driving around, I only knew of the one in Anaheim by Disneyland… So we went there, the service for one was exceptional, it seemed like it took less than 10 minutes after we ordered before our food arrived. If you’ve ever been to Lucille’s BBQ you know about the biscuits which I am happy to report were just as breathtaking as the last time I went there. I ended up getting the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious as was the Honey Blonde Beer which is amazing every time. So glad to see that this establishment still does everything I enjoyed just like the one in Anaheim. Check out the video of when we went there on youtube: youtube.com/watch?v=P91Q…

I used to go to the one in Victoria Gardens then discovered the then newly opened one in Chino Hills and have been going there for years. I was in the Riverside and I haven’t been to Lucille’s for quite a while anyway so might as well visit this one… WTH happened? Prices have gone significantly UP and the portions are now SMALLER! Staff and service is great though; typical of a Lucille’s BBQ. Restaurant is clean and looks like its well managed but I could not get over the smaller portions and price. I used to take home what I could not finish with one sitting but now not only did I finish it, I left feeling gypped. Like all large chain restaurants, once they down size their servings and raise their prices, there is no coming back. This will make me rethink my choice about Lucille’s BBQ from here on. BTW this less than enthusiastic review is by no means about the quality of the food, service or by the restaurant or its staff. The food is still as good as it was, just not the«BBQ bang for your buck» as it used to be.

This place is huge. Timed it right for mid afternoon to avoid lunch and dinner crowds and was able to take advantage of lunch specials and happy hour specials. Surprised they made their own beer. For a $ 522oz, I said lets try it since the other beer options weren’t that great. Grabbed a Lucille’s IPA, lunch special of St. Louis ribs, burnt ends, rib tips and fries. First off, their 3 sauces are excellent. All on the same level. The plate that came out looked skimpy. There was hardly any meat on the rib tips. St. Louis ribs were pretty good. Burnt ends might be my favorite. The shoestring fries were done perfectly and great to sample all the sauces with. Everything was cooked perfectly but felt light weight. I’m an average eater now a days and ordered sausage link appetizer and another beer because I was still hungry. The sausage was pretty good, with an interesting slaw side. Rather of them scrapped the slaw and gave me a full link. Wish there was mustard to go with it. All in all, this is a good place. You’ll have a good meal and enjoy dining here, but feel like you over paid a little besides the happy hour drinks. Pros: Flavor, food prep, happy hour, lunch specials, staff Cons: Petite portions, expensive Surprise: Great sauces and good beer

Today my family and I chose Lucilles to celebrate 3 birthdays in our family. My sister called mid week to put our names in for a reservation at 4. We were a party of ten, so we wanted to be sure and get a table that would fit us well. We arrived today only to be sat in a corner booth next to a smaller booth. The two tables connected but there was no way to even have a conversation with each other. Imagine a half circle with people lining the outside of the circle. It was just silly. Not to mention the family of 15 flies that were hanging out in the windows next to us. We swatted away flies from our food the entire meal. My dads salad was sent back because there was a hair in it. The manager came to the table and said she heard there was an unwanted item in his salad. He said he no longer wanted it because it took 10 minutes to flag our waitress down to even have her do anything about it. The rest of our meals came out while we still had our salads and the only drinks that were refilled were the beers. We had to ask multiple times for items like: regular butter, a spoon, extra napkins, water for the kids, boxes and a meal that came out much later then everyone else’s. To top it off, the birthday desserts took longer to come out then our meals did. We were so disappointed with this visit.

Service was friendly, décor was fun… but the food? Yuck. Everything was sweet. Yes, I see that the name is Lucille’s Bar-B-Que, but even their tri-tip, was sickeningly sweet. :(The fries were hard and stale and tasted like the fries that get stuck in the little holes of the fryer basket. It was as if they were old and just re-fried in order to reheat them. It was not a satisfying meal at all. This is one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had.

First Impressions — it’s nice and trying to be on the inside with plenty of seating for a big party with lots of other seating for an intimate gathering. the music was upbeat and the staff was very friendly. The Drinks — The drink were incredibly delicious! Light and refreshing. The cucumber cocktail they had on special was amazing. The Food — This is where we go from four to three starts. The cheese dip was fantastic. My steak was good… the mashed potatoes had good flavor, but they were not mashed… they were lumpy and really sub standard. I know that my seem small, but how do you mess up mashed potatoes? Smash until smooth, that’s it. The Server — not the most attentive, but very polite and kind. She gets another A-OK for me. Overall– I’d go back and give them another try, but I’m in no rush.

I came here on a Saturday with my child. I was impressed with the wait, it wasn’t long like with other restaurants to get a table. The place was packed but it wasn’t that bad. The food was outrageously delicious! Lots of flavors going on on my plate. I ordered Texas Brisket with mash and Mac/cheese. My little one ordered the southern fried chicken. He loved it and so did I. I will definitely be becoming back here the next time I’m in town. The waiters/staff were very kind and friendly.

If you’ve passed through the Temecula Promenade Mall, chances are you’ve seen Lucille’s. It’s centrally located adjacent to the cinema on the main road that cuts through the outdoor shops. The restaurant is spacious with separate sections: main dining room, bar area dining, and two sets of patios. Depending on where you prefer to sit, wait times will vary. I usually opt to go to the bar or outside. They can accommodate larger parties and I’ve come both in groups and solo. Biscuits and apple butter are a nice start. The few dishes I’ve had include the Tri-Tip plate(meat was a little dry), Chicken Sandwich(huge portion), Shrimp Po’ Boy(huge portion), a burger, and a couple of appetizers that were recommended by the staff(the meat tips were unimpressive). Out of their three signature mop sauces, I prefer the Memphis BBQ sauce; all bottles are available in bottles at the table for your own portioning. Service is okay – a little on the slow side – and I’ve had a couple drink and food orders come out wrong by the bar staff. The few plates I’ve had don’t make me want to say Lucille’s carries the best BBQ in town, but their menu is extensive and the place is always busy. The location is prime and for those who are looking for another place to dine with their pups, a separate dog-friendly patio is available.

I am a huge Lucille’s fan. We live in San Diego and still make it here once every few months — even though it’s an hour away. The price is a bit steep(½ rack of ribs with no sides runs about $ 15), but you get a lot of food when you order the«meal» instead of the app. I’ve gotten the burgers, tri-tip, and of course both types of the ribs… All delicious! I’m also a big fan of the Arnold Palmer, Strawberry Lemonade, and of course their complementary biscuits!
