I always go here, I was helped at the window by a woman named Ana(ANN-UH) she was very rude, repeated my order back to me, the cook still prepared it wrong. When I drove back to get my food, she grabbed the bag and slammed the window shut and walked away, not checking herself or asking if there’s anything else I needed. Even after I left, I STILL didn’t have the correct order. There was no apology, nothing. She just said oh okay. Not to mention when I initially arrived she took 4 min and 33 seconds to come and collect my payment, just to get my payment. While on her cell phone, her Galaxy S4 white(I know what it is because she was on the damn thing.) Granted it was late at night and that’s fine. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that I’m a customer. You’re an employee, your only job is to make sure I’m satisfied with the service. I didn’t receive that kind of service.

Don’t go to this place unless you want to pay for things you didn’t order. Horrible chain.

I have been going to albertos for years! I have noticed a decline in their performance for the last 2years because of new ownership. Recently I have just had enough, the cashier punched in my order wrong and when I went to tell them I experienced the worst customer service ever. They told me they would not fix their mistake, nor would they refund me my money. After a exhausting 10mins of going back at forth they decided to remake my order. She constantly told me to not get angry with her and that the cook refused to make it. It was your mistake… fix it… take ownership of your mistakes. I was highly disappointed and I will no longer go to this albertos. There is a Los primos not too far and a santanas off of Ynez.

I have been to many albertos, julbertos and all those berto places. This location has one of the best breakfast and California burritos by far.

This establishment breaks ADA regulations and kicked my service dog out of their restaurant. I’m a medically retired US Marine!

Disgusting! Has never been my favorite since the first time I went there. I kept going back to give them another chance and because usually I really enjoy Alberto’s mexican food but this chain is the worst! first time I spent 20 minutes in the drive thru and there was only 1 car ahead of me… finally got my carne asada burrito and meat was dry. Second time I was craving rolled tacos and they were SOGGY, and moist and not crunchy at all! I didn’t complain about it because again, i was stuck in drive thru for a while and didn’t realize it until i got home. Third time, rolled tacos and carne asada I ordered were bad. Rolled tacos were sloppy and carne asada burrito meat was hard and seemed like old meat just covered up with oily meat juice. I should of learned my lesson by then but returned because I was starving after work(I work late night shifts and this is the most convenient place to go on my way home, plus open 24hrs) and ordered a bean burrito, something simple… it was good, but will NEveR go BacK I rather starve! ** unbelievable that they have a tip jar at drive thru window– — don’t think so!

I admit, I would probably not have chosen this place if I was looking for Mexican food during the day, but it was a good option for a late Sat night. Located right next to Denny’s(I had no idea it was there), at a small street at the entrance to Old Town. The food was good for a late night joint, although they could step up on their cleanliness, especially the area under the neon signs in the restaurant(lots of dust, debris, and dead daddylonglegs.

All I’ve had is the California burrito and they make it perfect at this place. There fast and fairly nice, but at the end of the day it’s fast food, you can’t expect everything.

Horrible… I’ve had my share of taco shops and a lot of them are good. Unfortunately, Alberto’s falls way too short by any taco shop standards. It was late and I was in the mood for some really good Mexican Food after a long drive from Big Bear. I went skiing earlier in the day, but traffic was hell getting down the mountain and me and my son were looking for a good place to eat. We saw the Alberto’s sign on the freeway and figured, why not… we’ve eaten dozens of times before at the Alberto’s Mexican Food in San Diego California… how much different can this one in Temecula be. Obviously a lot of difference. Being hungry after a long day of skiing and then driving, I just didn’t want to go anywhere else… let’s face it. We were tired and hungry for Mexican Food. When we got there, the place wasn’t very busy(which should have been a tip-off to what this place was all about.) What I found very bothering was the girl at the cash register was more concerned about talking on her cell phone than helping us out. We actually waited 5 minutes before she finally got off her phone to help us(Special Note* she did see us waiting there and wanting to order) I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and my son ordered one with shrimp in it… one word about the burrito… HORRIBLE! I’ve had my share of Carne Asada Burrito’s in my time but the one I ordered was very skimpy at best and had no flavor to it and very under cooked. In all my years, I’ve never had a burrito from a taco shop tasted so bland… as a matter of fact, the last time I had a burrito this bad was from a vending machine at work. You know… the kind that costs .75 cents and you have to microwave it and no matter what, it always comes out soggy in the end. The restrooms also needed to be cleaned… for a place that wasn’t all that busy, the restrooms had an odor of urine and there were paper towels all over the place. If there was a way to rate this Alberto’s with no stars… I would seriously give it to them. Bad service, bad food and dirty restrooms. I will remember where NOTTOGO the next time I come home from a Ski/Snowboard trip from Big Bear… that’s my 2 cents.

Cheap and fast — all a bonus to the fact that Alberto’s serves what very well might be the best food available on all of Old Town Front Street. The carnitas is a tad on the greasy side, but some days it just won’t matter much to you. You know what I mean. Fajita burritos are another delightful serving here.
