What can I say about this place… For being in Southern California I expected more out of «authentic» Mexican restaurant. Food was not that great I ordered the flautas and they came out soggy because the smothered them in toppings. Salsa bar was okay nothing to brag about. I recommend making the drive to Temecula Parkway and eat at Los Tacos.

Rosa’s Cantina is a casual dining, walk up counter restaurant. Their burritos are big enough to be a meal for a hungry, grown guy. I got their chicken tacos — yummy grilled chicken. Bar is limited but has the basics to keep you happy. Would recommend for a low key, hang out dinner.

Some person posted on here named«Noël» who rated 1 star said she and her friends were asked to leave. That’s because they were drunk and disorderly, and as a patron who was present during the altercation, I heard the manager POLITELY ask the girls to leave because they were being loud and disorderly(true). Then one of the girls got offended, got into an altercation with another patron, and ended up punching that in the face. So. «NOEL.» Please dont leave reviews bashing the owner or business, when you folks are responsible for your behavior and consequently his decisions. :)

I can never go wrong with Rosa’s and the parking is just for that plaza so you don’t have to worry about parking. OK back to the goodness I love coming here because the prices are always reasonable, the food is really tasty, the location is great which is right in the heart of Old town and the restaurant has several places to eat. The employees are always friendly, helpful and they don’t have a tip jar. The food to me always taste so good and they have free refills on soda. They have a salsa bar right next to the soda fountain and across from the small but cozy bar. On the weekends they have a breakfast buffet which I still haven’t eaten at. Rosa’s is a great place to eat and they have a nice size patio.

Some highlights of Rosa’s Cantina: Decent food The option of indoor or outdoor seating Prices are decent Full bar inside Television for entertainment Casual atmosphere, good hang out place Possible downers: With all the options in Old Town, Rosa’s Cantina is probably not one of the top pics Their food is comparable to fast food, similar to an Albertos Final thoughts : We would go back most likely. But this wouldn’t be a frequent spot. Fast food Mexican food is about the same as their food quality and cheaper. But if in Old Town after some drinking and craving some decent Mexican food, we would come here again. The bar area and television were surprising, and I could see how people might want to come here for some grub, drinks and watch a game or something.
