We loved this place right at the bottom of the slopes in Mountain Village. It was always packed and hard to find a table, but the atmosphere was fun and the food was very good. We had lunch 2 different days here. One day we had the pork tacos which were average. Then the next day we had the kale salad with shrimp and a cheese burger with fries. Both of these entrees were very good! We would definitely go again. Most of the time the service was very good One day at happy hour the service was not good and we couldn’t get anyone to come to our table so we left. I was disappointed as I liked this place!

This is a good option for apres ski in Mountain Village. Service is fine, salads and appetizers are good and there is really nice outdoor seating on a warmer day. The drinks are good, but we would’ve liked more beer on tap.

Food was good and location can’t be beat for a mid-ski day lunch. The burgers were above par as was the chicken pot pie. Great spot to enjoy an outdoor meal on a nice day.

This place is my daily stop when the lifts close. Good beer, excellent bloody Mary(Bear Trap with bacon, shrimp, celery, 2 kinds of olives and a hot pepper with Thai infused vodka) and good food. The bourbon drenched bundt cakes are fantastic. Food is excellent quality and priced accordingly for Telluride.

Tomboy Tavern is great! We visited for a week of skiing, and found this place to be the best for a quick and delicious lunch, and for a cozy family dinner. The kale salad was huge, and filled with tons of tasty toppings. It was so clean and fresh… super healthy! We also tried the roasted chicken, which kinda tasted like supermarket rotisserie, but hit the spot after a long day skiing. The carnitas tacos were my daughter’s favorite. Very tender meat and fresh toppings. Desserts were really good, too, especially the apple tart. Friendly and helpful wait staff and good prices made Tomboy Tavern our go-to family favorite.

How is it that what is arguably the best veggie burger I’ve ever had comes out of Telluride, where there are scant veg options? I shouldn’t question it. Garbanzo and kidney beans, Israeli cous cous, and all sorts of other goodness all on a piece of naan with veggies and goat cheese. Decadent. He kale avocado dip and the Thai-style pan-seared edamame kicked ass too. By far our best meal in all of Telluride with the best service as well!!! And it’s a groovy little place, too, with all sorts of vintage pieces.

Ate here for dinner on 2⁄1 at 7pm. Nice interior but pretty empty. We ordered the ribs, chicken and soba noodle soup. The ribs were cooked nicely, chicken extremely salty — almost to the point of being inedible, and soba soup was terrible — dark brown watery tasting broth, grilled chicken(who puts grilled chicken in soup and some pieces were pink and raw tasting). Ordered a beer and they brought me a half glass saying it was the end of the keg and I would get one for free. The next they brought me was another half of glass — guess it was too much to spare 6 more oz so I could have a full beer! Definitely would not return. I read nice reviews but after eating here makes me question the legitimacy of the reviews. Many better options: tracks, poachers pub etc.

Went here for a late lunch as soon as we arrived in mountain village; the place was pretty much empty. We sat at the bar. As an appetizer, we ordered truffle fries with aioli… Fries were good, but they forgot the aioli. No big deal. I ordered the chicken pot pie and a side salad with ranch. Pot pie was cold and received vinaigrette. Husband got the Mac n cheese, it wasn’t very good. Neither of us are picky about our Mac n cheese. Come on, it’s Mac and its cheese, not sure how that could not be good, but it wasn’t. Bartender seemed like he would rather be anywhere else and only interacted with the locals. I read the reviews on tomboy and really wanted to like it.

A good place for drinks but food is not so great there is better choices if you are just wanting lunch/dinner I ordered a hamburger($ 16) and it came out almost raw, in all fairness I didn’t tell them how I wanted it cooked and they didn’t ask but raw is not safe when the waitress saw it she said oh yuk! no prob we will give you 20% off and I didn’t eat it also the fries are just ok. This sounds a little petty but there is a lot better food choices in the area for the same money.

This is my favorite spot in Mountain Village and downtown combined. Food is consistently good, drinks strong and tasty and most servers are very nice, which for some reason is kind of a novelty in Telluride. Pot pie is great!

We ate dinner here January 5, 2016. This place has great food and our several waitresses were really sweet. The hostess however needs a talking to. She was the most unfriendly hostess I’ve ever had! Get rid of her. Most likely there are plenty of friendlier girls/guys waiting in line for the job.

We had an awesome lunch experience here in mid-December. We were seated immediately and had an exceptionally friendly server. The kale avocado dip appetizer was delicious, as were both of our meals. Very friendly, relaxed atmosphere with great food and cool slope side views depending upon your table. Great choice for a beer and a quick meal after a day on the slopes(or a day lounging around Mountain Village).

Best restaurant in the area! The food was incredible! In fact, it was so good we went for lunch and back for dinner. At lunch, I had the nachos. To be honest, I was not expecting much. The chips were homemade potato chips! They were deliciously covered in nacho cheese and chili and topped with pico. The service at lunch was lacking or this wood be a five star review. We went back for dinner and sat at the bar. The restaurant was pretty empty with six patrons counting us at the bar. We shared the bison meatloaf which was out of this world. The bartender promptly served us, kept our drinks filled, and even chatted about the area and travel in general.

This place is perfect! Great ambiance and food. Good prices too for a resort town. We loved it so much we are here twice in three days. The nachos and chicken pot pie were my favorite!

For mountain resort food, this gets 5 stars. So often they’re barely edible. Carnitas plate was great. So was the chicken pot pie. I would definitely come back.

Wow — our group absolutely fell in love with this place! We had a great table on the patio with a beautiful view of the mountain, but the inside was equally as charming. Our waiter was great — personable and very efficient. The food was really incredible and surprisingly well priced for a resort town. We tried the pork schnitzel stack, shrimp tacos, tomato basil soup, salmon salad and the chicken pot pie. We will definitely be back — this place is legit!

Great creative cocktails. Good food. The Mac N Cheese is good. The service is great. One night they ran next door and brought us pizza! We always try to hit this place when in town.

Fantastic, friendly service and great happy hour prices. For $ 10 I got a burger, soda and fries. The food was decent but the ambience of the restaurant was the best part. It was elegant rustic with beautiful wood floors and tables. It overlooked the bike/ski trails and gondola. We also had the nachos. My kids loved them. I thought they were ok. Beautiful town in the mountains of CO.

Tomboy tavern is in a very cute location with great views of the gondola and all of the surrounding mountains. I ordered the Mac and Cheese and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. They brought out the creamy mac and cheese in an adorable little pot: my very own pot of gold! While I throughly enjoyed my meal, my sister’s Cesar salad was rather disappointing, and my father’s Carnesta pork plate was lacking. The server kept forgetting to bring our drinks and the food took awhile to come out. Overall it was a okay meal, but we will probably try a different restaurant the next time we come to Telluride.
