Delicious donuts! Great front porch. Don’t miss this place if you are in Telluride! We also had lunch here and sat on the front porch. Amazing view of the mountains! So happy they rebuilt after the fire.

National Donut Day and only a few baked donuts. Disappointing. Rob had the éclair. Dough was too thick. I got the cherry turnover. It was good. We went back for dinner. Rob had the turkey club on white. It was built properly and was a good size. Turkey and bacon needed more flavor. He rated it 3.5. I had the roast beef with provolone on dough dough. The sandwich was substantial. The roast beef was tender but needed to be seasoned. I would rate it at 4. The venue was clean. Counter service.

This place is the bomb. I will no doubt go back every time I’m in Telluride. Plenty of seats, plenty of options, plenty of good vibes.

I go here for breakfast every day when I am in Telluride, I have gone over 10 times and have never been the slightest bit disappointed, also it is great because you can get in and out to get on the slopes quickly.

The donuts were ok but not over the top. It is an average small town bakery. Nothing to write home about but solidly average

Their coconut donut made my life complete. I was very sad it wasn’t on the menu the next day when I went back for another. The chubby duck on the porch was also very entertaining :)

I don’t understand why people gotta talk trash about this place. Its affordable and tasty AND in Telluride. Hard to come by that triple threat in T-ride. Their croissants are amazing especially with egg and cheese mmmm. Also this place serves as a panaderia which is also no where else in Telluride. We made out with about a dozen baked goods which were all delicious. I would highly recommend the cookie they appropriately name Delisciosas. Also every time you check in you get 10% off. I’ll be back.

This is a pleasant local bakery with quite a vast selection of baked good to choose from. There’s a self serve thing that they do here that is ultra casual. And behind the counter there’s 5 big screen TVs with wildly colorful and menus– this is really overkill and honestly hurts my eyes to look at. But, I just grab a cheese and egg croissant and go on my jolly way. Stuff I’ve tried: Jelly filled donut= outstanding. Egg & cheese croissant= tasty Breakfast burrito w/potato= crumbly, bland egg with soggy tortilla, and for nearly $ 8? It’s a joke, avoid it. Get the croissant instead. Coffee is available in a light and dark roast, I prefer the lighter roast. But it’s still not great. I’ll make this place an occasional visit when friends come visit. I’m stopping by for that jelly donut and croissant at most.(If they have it) 1÷18÷16 Came back for lunch– soup and salad was a joke. I’d expect more from a fast food chain. Goopy lukewarm tortilla soup with tough, dry chicken diced up in it. I should feel lucky they sliced 5 bits of avocado on top. Accompanied by a tiny little ‘green’ salad with cardboard tomatoes and a heaping pile of black olives. This place is a gimmick and a joke. Avoid it like the overpriced market next door.

The selection of pastries here is awesome but I guess I picked the wrong thing :( I chose a chocolate glazed donut and my mom grabbed a fruit-filled jelly donut(raspberry I think?). We also bought an éclair which was massive and looked delicious! When I tried my donut it was a bit dry though and not moist and fluffy like I thought it was going to be. The éclair was on point, especially the filling which had a nice creamy taste. The store looked like a great place to grab a pastry, hang out, and get some work done or chat with friends. We just grabbed our stuff to go but I would have spent some time here if time had allowed!

Great spot for a pastry. Smells great! They have muffins, doughnuts cookies and more. I don’t recommend any of the breakfast burritos. Eggs were dry and tortilla was soggy. Could only eat a bite and trashed the rest.

We always stop in at Baked in Telluride when we visit our favorite mountain town. And the food just gets better and better. Last visit we had a plate of chicken enchiladas. Fresh, flavorful, delicious. A little too spicy for me, but that’s not their fault. Definitely stop in for a sandwich, some pizza, or some tacos.

Came for breakfast around 9:30; based on other reviews thought the pastries might be cleaned out, but there were still plenty of varieties available. I had the lox and Philly bagel sandwich(cream cheese, lox, tomatoes, lettuce and onion) and my husband had a cheese Danish and a spinach and feta croissant. The pastries were flaky and had a good amount of filling. My Sammie had a lot of lox and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and plentiful. Ordering at the counter was efficient and took a few minutes, and within 5 minutes or so my sandwich was up. Definitely a great place to come if you don’t want a big sit down meal service.

Since I wrote my review the restaurant owner contacted me and asked me what was wrong with my sandwich. Here’s my reply: Thanks for reaching out Jerry. I ordered my sandwich«mustard only». I was expecting fresh sliced corned beef on «Jewish style» rye bread with mustard. Fresh, house-made bread at that. I watched my sandwich being made(although I did not realize it was MINE at the time… there was quite a line of people getting sandwiches as it was during the film festival). The person who made it took 2 slices of previously sliced and packaged rye bread and buttered them. She then placed meat that was also already sliced, possibly frozen and thawed, and packed between slices of waxed paper on each of the slices of buttered bread and then placed everything in some sort of broiling oven. After the meat was curled and slightly browned(ewww) she took the concoction out of the oven, put mustard on top of the meat, and put the two halves together. Then the whole mess was wrapped in paper to-go. The sandwich was greasy and hot, and had stringy, tough meat, and flavorless bread. As I said before: good for tossing in the trash. But, on a better note: your coffee, cookies, and other baked goods are quite yummy!

We stopped at this casual self serve bakery/pre-made sandwich and snack shop in Telluride for some quick breakfast items before hitting the road to our next stop on our trip. We had seen it the day before, but late in the day when most of the racks were empty but we knew it would serve our purpose in the morning. Lots of choices and most items nicely labeled as to potential allergens and hidden ingredients. A nice touch for those in need. We chose a variety of morning pastry rather than dessert items and some coffee. The coffee and espresso drink were both adequate, but not quite what we are used to. My blueberry muffin was really very good but my husband did not find the flavor of the filling of his cheese danish to be traditional, though it was a huge and attractive pastry. The filled churro had good flavor, a nice custard filling but was too sweet and crusty/sugary for the morning. I took a slice of vanilla pound cake for the road because it looked so traditional and I rarely find this old time favorite around anymore, but we were so full and had so many places yet to go, that I never got around to eating it. If we were here more often I am sure we could find more that we liked as the choices are so numerous, but we did not have that opportunity. We could have tried the cookies and macaroons which are family favs but for a later meal dessert, had we stayed another day.

For being such a cute little city, Telluride is lacking in the nice mountain café department. Luckily we found Baked in Telluride for breakfast during our stay. Their donuts were fluffy and fresh tasting. Better to get there early though as the donut rack can quickly get picked over. We also got a bagel sandwich: the deluxe on an everything bagel. The bagel itself was nothing really to write home about, but the sandwich was truly tasty, and a great breakfast to start a fun filled day in Telluride. Not a bad spot if you are just looking for something small to get your day started, but be sure to get there early as the racks do get picked over, which can leave you with the ugly donut or frozen bagels from the back.
