Fresh Market

nothing special. store looks clean. not a high sales volume store apparently. i’ve had items from here when I got home noticed they were expired (food and perishables) check dates on food if you go here. sundries are ok prices can be higher than smith’s.seems hasn’t been remodeled since Albertsons left long ago.

This is where most of our grocery dollars go. It’s not the closest store to our house, and not even the better overall value than the one down the road. The manager of this store shows some pride – it’s clean, well-​organized, and well-​stocked. Those working at the customer service desk are really there to serve customers! The butchers have been beyond helpful over the years. I come here because the employees are always professional and pleasant. In fact, I collected compliments and hugs yesterday, and it truly got my week off to a great start.

Fresh Market is your typical grocery store, but I’m a fan simply because parking is plentiful and it’s rarely ever busy here. It’s also got more options and fresher items compared to Smith’s and Reams which aren’t too far away. The employees are always helpful and friendly and that makes my food shopping experience even better.

I spent a ton of time in this place formerly and have recently had occasion to go back and it really has not changed much. I liked it partly because it was so convenient to Graywhale CDs, but I never mistook it for anything more than what it is, an average grocery store. Will it get the job done? Yes. Is it better than the Smith’s on about 4100 S. Redwood? Yes, though I would be sorely tempted to shop at that other place, if I lived closer, for the fuel points.
Layout is still pretty good and mostly the same as before, despite them constantly shuffling it. Staff is still friendly, the deli pickin’s are still pretty lean. It’s still a consistently clean store, with relatively easy parking. Worth a stop if I’m in the area and in need of something, but nothing crucial.

I like going to Fresh Market.
The produce is always very fresh, the staff at the Butcher block is very helpful, will cut the fat off the chicken for no extra cost (which they sell hand trimmed for more, so not sure how that works), will give suggestions on HOW to cook items, all of the staff seems happy to be there and they have a really good selection.

Formerly an Albertsons supermarket, this Fresh Market is newly remodeled and with the change of name came many new products including Western Family. I shop here regularly because it is close to where I live. The store is clean, well-​lit and easy to navigate. I would prefer that they carry more organic produce, but unfortunately they don’t. With frequent weekly sales their prices are usually very good. The staff is very friendly and recognizes us when we shop there. Fresh Market is a supermarket with the feel and personality of a small town grocery store.
