Quite good. Finally an edible Persian place outside of Westwood. We were invited by friends visiting from out of town. They need to spruce up the atmosphere a bit but food wise, really no complaints. Our orders included kabobs, fish, and even vegetarian.

The food is good. Price is fair. The service is… The food is good. Went here for a company dinner. It was supposed to be family style but for some reason when ordering more food the server looks at us like we’re ordering too much. IDK. If you like getting ignored then this would be the place to frequent. Maybe people that go here already know how things are. Again, IDK.

Amazing experience. It was my third or fourth time eating tadig and this place made me like it. I also had the lunch special juicy chicken kabob plate and it was big portions and excellent food. The owner was even kind enough to treat us to baklava and tea!

Food was great. This review is based solely on their service. I booked a reservation for my mothers birthday. 12 of us. It took them 30 minutes to get us water. 20 minutes to take our order. Mind you the place was not full. Service sucked. I wish we hadn’t chose this place with such a big party. I would have left $ 0 for tip. Completely terrible

Everything was delicious. Koubideh, rice, eggplant stew, chicken kabob, ice cream… Yum. The service is extremely amiable if a bit leisurely.

Since taking over for Daraband we have ordered for multiple dinner parties and Hooman the owner has made sure that each time we get sooo much food for the money you spend. My wife and I also dine there often. The food is amazing from juicy chicken, koobideh, Kashk bademjoon, shish kabob, fish kabob, barg all so good as well as the salad. Huge portions. I’m getting hungry writing this. Also take advantage of the combination plates that they offer so you can taste all the food. However there is room for improvement in regards to their service. And I think that they should also have sangak bread. Considering that the ambience is great and the food is beyond excellent I give this place five stars.

Great food. The service was very fast and attentive servers. Very nice place. Used to be another Persian restaurant, but the food at this one is better. Mother didn’t complain. Always a good thing

The food is good but the service is THEWORST! Not sure who the«gentleman» that’s always running around all over the place is(owner? Manager?) He is very rude and definitely does not have the personality to manage/run a restaurant. They need to hire someone for the front desk/host area. Someone with a pleasant personality. Have had a few bad experiences and until they get their act together, will not be going back.

The best beef soultany kabob you can get in town. everything from white fish kabob to eggplant dish was amazing. Very sweet owner, he really treated us with respect. I have gone there many times, every time even better then last time. Totally recommend.

Just ordered from the former Darband restaurant, under new ownership I guess. I’m so happy hat the food is not only as good but better quality and taste. The service is so much better. I had stopped going because the old owners were not great at customer service. My favorite was the jucy chicken, so tender and delicious, Def recommend! And the Bargh filet kabob also great ! Order the tahdig, wasn’t soft like a lot Persian restaurants. And the sweet salad dressing is a must. Take out service quick and warm and fresh! Best Persian restaurant in the valley hands down now!

The best Persian food and service you can find, I have known the owner for many years. Hooman takes care of his customers like his own family, it’s a great pleasure for his return.

I got delivery from this place. Ordered the chicken cornish(lunch special) which was pretty juicy and well marinated. Also got the tahdig(crispy rice) with the ghorme sabzi(herb stew) which was also pretty good. They sent me bread, fresh herbs, and butter(which was pretty surprising because most Persian places don’t send you any unless you ask them for some). They also sent me a complimentary masto khiar(yogurt with cucomber). Thank you for that! The only thing was that the delivery took about 2 hours.

Will not be going back. No where near the quality of food when it was Darband. Fish tasted frozen and rice had an odd after taste.

The name may be new but it’s the same great food as before. I was so sad to see that the restaurant was under new management but I recognized who the new owners are– they’re the original owners when I started coming here years ago. Awesome!
