Senna Cosmetics Makeup & Brow Studio

I had a very prestigious event to attend at The Château Marmot in West Hollywood. I stressed about it for weeks. I am a special needs mom and very rarely get dressed and made up to go out anymore. I had so much panic and anxiety about this event because I just wasn’t feeling attractive, I put on a few pounds and I am not great at doing my own makeup. At the last minute– I looked up online «make up application services» and Senna came up. This was on a Friday Night– of Black Friday no less– and I dialed the phone at 4pm. The person that answered was high energy and amazing and said I could come right in. I was running a little late and I called apologetically and the person at Senna was wonderful and kind and funny and assured me that I was going to be just fine.
When I arrived at Senna I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is there. It’s not all minimalist and bright lights in your face– its very tasteful, warm and inviting. The artist that greeted me was Jenny Ung and she was professional and personable immediately. I felt a ten million lb weight lifted just by sitting in her chair. She asked questions about my event, she asked what I was going to wear and what I wanted to achieve with makeup. She asked lots of questions– and was genuinely interested in listening for answers. She complimented some of my features and she told me what her thoughts would be for what colors would be best and we went with her suggestions. She told me what she was doing as she did it– she even tweezed some eyebrows that were in the way. When she was done I was the happiest I have been in a very long time. I was so excited to see how it turned out! She put just enough make up on me that I didn’t look overdone and it looked natural and flawless. My eyes were the most brilliant I’d ever seen them. Lastly, Jenny asked if I’d like to get any of the products she used and I bought the lip color and gloss but there was absolutely no pressure to buy the products. I’ve been to places where there is a huge sales pitch afterwards and this was not like that at all.
I was so happy to hear that Senna also does make-​up tutorials because I am definitely going to invest the money and GO learn. Especially since I know who wonderful and helpful Jenny Ung is. She made my night amazing and all of my friends were complimenting me and I felt more beautiful than I had in YEARS. Thank you Jenny. Thank you Senna.
One small note: I screwed up when paying and did’t ask about a tip line. I was so nervous/​anxious/​excited about my event and I had no cash. I hope Jenny will please consider this a big fat I owe YOU and I plan to come prepared to double tip when I get my make up lesson with you soon.

Chanette Thompson is a master eyebrow technician. I have gone to many «excellent» eyebrow studios. Namely one starting with an «A»! She surpasses any one I have ever had. Meticulous with every second she spends on you. Her make-​up applications are FLAWLESS! A true visionary and artist!

I’ve been coming to Senna for more than 15 years for eyebrow shaping. The best technique and shaping in the biz. I’ve gone to Rose Marie since Day One. Awesome I highly recommend Becca as well. She is available on Mondays, very talented and passionate about her craft.

I’ve spent months looking for a good eyebrow place and was recommended to senna. I got lucky enough to have Becca my first time and WILL NOT go to anyone else. she is the sweetest person on the planet. I love coming in and having her do my brows and just talking to her. Anyone looking for Able he went to Efoxx hair. The manger who was rude, would not tell me where he went or give me any contact, They also would not honor his rates with someone else. This place is WAY over priced!

I was at Whole Foods (across the street from this location), and I saw a lady with GORGEOUS full eye brows. I had to stop and ask hr where she got her brows done. She said she goes to Senna Brow Studio, and her eye brow artist is «Doris».
I immediately booked an appointment to get my horrible, bushy brows done with Doris. When I got them done, she completely reshaped my brows and made them look AMAZING! I literally looked like a different person!
I’m really glad I discovered this location. Go to Doris if you want beautiful, full, glamorous brows!

I have been to Anastacia, Chroma, other Senna locations and many Beverly Hills salons to get my eyebrows shaped No one has done as amazing of a job as Megan at Senna. She tints my eye brows and does the most natural shape eye brow. i would highly recommend her! She also did my makeup to be a bride’s maid in a wedding and I was by far the most gorgeous and glam bride’s maid. She is the the future of eyebrows in LA.

As a professional makeup artist, I am incredibly picky about brows and who I’ll let handle mine. I’ve been to Anastasia Beverly Hills, Damone Roberts Beverly Hills and several SFV technicians who were good for a while but I never managed to achieve the arches of my dreams. Imagine my surprise when ‘brow queen’ Eugenia Weston and owner of Senna Cosmetics sculpted my brows to perfection and told me that her Tarzana location could be my go-​to brow place.
I saw Megan who plucked all of the stray hairs and put me a step closer to the arch shape that so many brow experts told me I couldn’t achieve because of my naturally straight brow shape. For $ 35, I’m really happy with the service. They also have a full selection of their cosmetics line, which is such a sleeper range. Their undereye concealer is amazing and one of the best around. I’ll definitely be back!
One note, though — make sure you take the tip in cash because it needs to be added before they run the total on your card. It’s so much easier just to tip in bills!
