No hot water at all for 24 hours, manager very rude and surly, saying that if I didn’t want to stay(without hot water) I should have checked out at that time. Was finally, FINALLY comped for one night of a two-night stay adfter him arguing and insulting me(including him saying, «Oh yes sir! I turn off hot water just so you not have it, sir!» That is the words of a «professional» manager? No way! The final blow was Holiday Inn not allowing me to post a rather tame(in my opinion) review on their website. I tried to edoit it to get it posted only to find out my account had been blocked! Also drain was broken from tub(no bath in any temp of water!) Contacted corporate offices, who sided with manager. Never again will I recommend or stay at a Holliday Inn of any sort.

Not happy with inflexability of Management! I am a platinum member and by accident booked a rate that I tried to change. Opened up a case with IHG and they tried to be helpful. When it came down to it the GM refused to offer a refund. I tried to cancel a month in advance and they offered no option for refund. Other Hotel Chains offer some flexability. In this day and age with so many options to choose from I am positive I made the wrong choice and will be certain to be more careful next time. Please be careful when booking here and be certain you book the correct rate! If you choose to stay here. Next time I will be staying at a Hilton Property.

Stayed here 5 days in August. Nice hotel, seems like it was updated/remodeled recently. Clean rooms, fridge, cold a/c, solid WIFI, free breakfast. I stay a lots of Holiday Inns and this is pretty much the standard. However, EVERY other Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at has coffee in the lobby 24⁄7. Hell even when I used to work night audit at a hotel years ago one of my duties was to keep the coffee going. I like to get up at 430 and start working, and stumbling down to the lobby for coffee with real half & half is my routine. But they don’t have it here, they only have it in the breakfast area during breakfast hours(630am) which is locked the rest of the time. So I requested that they have coffee earlier but it never happened during my stay. I realize this seems like a small thing, but literally EVERYOTHER Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at has this!

I give 2 stars basically because of the price. Its definitely a nice place to stay but then again it’s freaking Holiday Inn for more than a hundred bucks a night. Compared to a lot of times you can pick up a stay at a Marriott or Hyatt for much less. In our case next time I think we would stay in Fredericksburg again and just deal with the drive. All in all not a bad place just way overpriced.

We spent two nights here while visiting my sister at St. Margarets School. Clean and nicely updated inside. Our room was pretty large, but the closet is incredibly small, and not lit. Bathroom was updated, but there was a really funky smell coming from the sink drain. The breakfast in the morning is basic but nice. Good spread of food and the bagels are tasty. Free wi-fi was also a perk. They had a inside pool and a modern gym. The location is funny — right next to Wal-Mart, but it’s centrally located no far from«downtown» and it IS nice walking to Wal-mart if you need to pick up anything.
