Love this store. I confess, I went back twice, within a few days, and bought clothing each time. Great selection of artsy clothes and gorgeous shoes. Good, helpful, knowledgeable staff.

At first I was unimpressed with what I saw. But a determined salesgal (hailey) made sure i was well taken care of and that i left 400 dollars poorer with some cool tops and a new handbag. A few suggestions. … carry merchandise that looks less like what an art teacher would wear. Unless that’s all that sells…, I’m from los Angeles and this is sooo not chic. Also merchandise was placed all over on ground etc… it looked messy. Overall I was satisfied.

This is a great shop. Steppin’ out has a wide variety of shoes, and clothes. And as mentioned in the first review the service is great! I always stop in when I’m in Taos. Men, it’s a good stop for the woman /​women in your life! ;)

I’ve been here a few times on our way to & from Santa Fe. I love this store! They carry cool shoes and clothes. Customer service is the best, too!
