Mmmmmmmmmmmm! Is really all you need to know. By far the best place to get a delicious sweet treat. They even have some products that bring a New Mexican touch, green chili brittle, piñón nut caramel apples! Go get it sweet!

This review is regarding their customer service. There were two employees working in the store. Not once during the 5 to 10 minutes that we were in there did they acknowledge us. Not even a smile. The female employee refused to make eye contact as she went around to different areas behind the counter and the male employee would look over at us but never uttered a word. Ridiculously rude. Just about everyone else we’ve encountered in Taos has been friendly but these two were acting like we’d insulted their mothers or something. I’m not asking the employees to act like my bff but at least be polite and acknowledge that there are paying customers in your store.

Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. We decided to splurge and get 2 caramel apples(I had the«apple pie apple» and it was a-maz-ing), some green chili peanut brittle and some lemon pepper chocolate. Each thing we bought was unique and delicious. The people working were friendly and patient and the price was fair for what you get. I will definitely be back again and again.

Holy ice cream! They only have one size and it comes in an 8oz clear plastic cup. that’s right over 8oz of ice cream! Lots of amazing looking treats to go with it too. Only thing I would say is that the kids that they hire to run the store at night are way more into talking to each other than serving/paying attention to the customer.

Oh my what can I say we stayed at the Hotel La Fonda de Taos two doors down and had to walk past it to get to our car and couldn’t resist, great chocolate and great ice cream.

My first experience at this chain was here in Taos, about 10 years ago, my BFF took me here because she said they had delicious things inside. We have since gotten a couple stores of this chain in the suburbs in my area, but I never stop in, I save it for when I visit Taos, so it doesn’t get old for me. And all I have to say is the Taos Monster caramel apple with a little bit of everything under the sun is DABOMB! My sister and I got it and shared it for breakfast one morning on our recent visit to Taos. Yeah, I said breakfast. It’s an apple under all that, right? Seriously, it should be illegal to pile that much stuff on top of a piece of fruit and still consider it an apple. But it was soooooo good…

Its a delicious menagerie of slightly above average grade chocolate, dipped apples and marshmallows, nut clusters, etc… And its pricey. But the milk chocolate caramels make my wife squeal like our first year of kissing. That’s worth $ 12 for three pieces. The server was cute, fun and efficient.

I first had Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory chocolate on a business trip to Denver. It was love at first bite. Whenever I find myself within biting distance of one of these strip mall shops, I have to duck in. They also lurk at airports. Be on the lookout for one in your travels and for goodness sake try the dark chocolate peanut butter bucket. Just look at that picture!
