Pleasantly surprised! I stopped by, on a whim, and ordered the kids’ turkey.(I just wanted a snack) Even for a kid’s sandwich, it was pretty solid. The ordering process is unique and efficient with brown bags that you fill out yourself. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Which Wich in the Wesley Chapel area

What an adventure! Stopped by after getting some boba right down the street. I’ve always found myself in the USF area and have been wanting to check out this place for a while, and today was the day seeing as how it was 3pm and I hadn’t eaten anything the whole day. I walked in and right there were a line of bags to choose from, numbered by the meat you chose for your sandwich or bowlwich(also vegetarian friendly). Almost anything you could think of was available for you to add to your custom meal, from hummus to garlic to your average tomato! I got a mean ol’ 14′ and so did my boyfriend and enjoyed every inch of it. There is no way you’ll leave here being hungry.

It’s a sub. Nothing more real confusing you have to make all the decisions on a paper bag then pay for ur sub I would like to see all the ingredients maybe I would add more. And there are so many options every time you go there u can’t remember what you got the last time on your sub.

It’s a sandwich shop, nothing more. This is the only Which Wich I’ve been in, so I’m not sure if I should be blown away. But I’m not. Not great, not terrible, just ok.

Holy customized sub sandwiches, Batman! This place is crazy. I had some meetings in the USF area, and my Unilocal buddy Dave W, had been singing the praises of this sub sandwich shop along Fowler called Which Wich. The shop is located inside of a little strip plaza near the corner of Fowler and 50th, and it is diagonally-across the road from MOSI, and adjacent to the USF campus. To the right, as you walk in, is a menu board. You start by selecting the type of protein that you want on your meal, and then grab the associated-numbered brown sandwich bag. For example, Turkey is Bag #1, Ham & Pork is Bag #2, Beef is Bag #3, and so on. There were 10 different bags to choose from. Then, you look on your bag and determine what type of sandwich you want. For example, the Beef bag let’s you choose from Roast Beef, Beef Cheesesteak, French Dip, Corned Beef, or a Reuben. From there you can choose the size of your sandwich, type of bread, hot or cold, etc. You can even choose not to have a traditional sandwich at all, and instead order a salad bowl or a Lettucewich. After that, you mark you bag to indicate what type of cheese, dressings, veggies, spices, double meat, add-on bacon, or add-on sliced egg. And finally you decide if you want to make it a meal by adding on chips and a drink. By now you are sweating profusely from all of this hard work, and you hand over your precious sandwich bag to the cashier who tallies up your order and tells you to take a seat. Once your sandwich is ready they will wrap it up and slide it inside your brown paper sandwich bag. The bag is now yours to keep as a treasured memento of your visit, or you can decorate the bag and hang the artwork on their wall in the back. Angels rejoice as this is *YOUR* sandwich, customized just the way that you wanted it. If it sucks, then you have no one to blame but yourself. Your first time at Which Wich can be a bit daunting as you try to understand the system, and figure out what to add to your meal, but the regulars seem to zoom through this process very quickly. I like the fact that I know just what goes onto my sandwich, and that I can control the choice of toppings and the amount. Fun place, and definitely worth a try if you’re in the USF area.

Love their concept. They had to explain it to me first though. You pick a bag with your main ingredient and you start building your sandwich with a sharpie on your bag. Sandwiches were good and I loved their house chips.

My boyfriend turned me on to Which Which last weekend when we went for a strenuous hike and got 2 sandwiches to go for our picnic lunch. I was blown away by the topping options and by the hearty and flavorful black bean patty sandwich. I was ecstatic to see options like hummus, caramelized onions, jalapeño hummus, spicy mayo, spinach, and quinoa on the menu. It’s such a breath of fresh air compared to the standard«lettuce, tomato, pickles & onions» toppings offered at places like Jimmy Johns, Lennys subs, Subway, etc. I have now tried 2 subs and 1 wrap in only a week. Everything has been delicious, fresh, made perfectly the way I ordered it,(love the ordering system) and fairly priced. I will certainly come here over any other sub shop in the area!

This is another example of a place I would have never known about, unless I saw the reviews on Unilocal.I’m so glad we tried this sandwich gem! The service is as fast and accurate as can be, thanks to their very cool ordering system. Simply select the sandwich you’d like, pick the corresponding paper bag labeled with your type of sandwich, check off your instructions & extras, and your order is prepared within minutes. The prep crew is clearly hard after it, and make sure your order is customized just as you like from the very long list of available options. I ordered the toasted Muffuletta Hotwich with salami, ham and olive salad, and my wife had the Turkey Hotwich with stuffing and cranberry sauce, and both were knockouts! Our bread selections tasted like they were made on site, and the ingredients were fresh, delicious and loaded. I also had a Pumpkin Shake, and it was one of the best milkshakes ever. The place is bright and clean, the staff are friendly and fast and the prices are right on target. Without a doubt, we’ll drop in any time we are in the area!

In Tampa with a big production crew at USF Arena, on a tight schedule. This sub shop was close by & I had never tried, by after learning & reading about it on Unilocal,it fit our needs with their unique concept.(only thing better is if they delivered like some other sub shops do) I went to WW first picked up a large variety of sandwich ordering bags, brought them back to the crew & everyone ordered exactly what & how they wanted it by checking the box on their sub sleeves/bags — I ordered a Hot Sub Ruben, not bad — everyone happy, lunch is served & the show goes on.

Somehow I never managed to visit Which Wich throughout my years at USF. It’s located right beside the campus on Fowler Ave., so it would’ve been the perfect place to stop and grab lunch on my way to class! I liked that you write your order on your bag. As a super picky eater, I often run into issues with things being added to my food that I did not request. This way the meal is laid out clearly and there is less room for error. The first choice you will make is between white or wheat bread, a bowl, or a lettuce wrap. There’s also an option to «skinny your wich,» where they scoop out the inside of the bread to cut some carbs and calories. My sandwich was a chicken parmesan, so I used the«Italian» bag to place my order. I was expecting your typical breaded chicken patty, but was pleasantly surprised when I had sliced deli meat on my sandwich. I thought it was delicious and different. I also bought a sandwich for my boyfriend called«The Wicked.» It came with five different meats: turkey, ham, roast beef, pepperoni, and bacon. You can also pick from your choice of three cheeses; he went with mozzerella, pepper jack, and blue. There are tons of veggies, sauces, and extras you can add to perfectly customize your ‘wich. Any sandwich can be served hot or cold, depending on your preference. It is a little pricier than most sandwich joints, but I think the quality was better than most. I will be returning soon for more ‘wiches!

The concept is like chipotle, which is great because it’s all about customizing now a days. You go In And grab a card and on it are a lot of options. You mark what you want and hand it to the cashier, and that’s it. Very convienant . I honestly thought it was okay, but that maybe just what I had gotten. I had gotten the Philly there and it was very under seasoned. Also it was a bit pricey for the size that you get as well.

Different concept. You figure out what kind of meat you sandwich you want(turkey or ham & pork or beef or chicken or seafood or vegetarian or Italian or R&D(limited) or Classics or Breakfast), then you grab the respective bag, select the specific type of sandwich(for instance, if you select the chicken, your options are Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Pesto, Chicken Cordon Bleu or Chicken Salad), then select bread, size, hot or cold, and all the condiments. Then you just hand the empty bag to the cashier, he/she will ring it up and they’ll put your sandwich in your bag after they make it and call your name. Presto Chicken Pesto! On my Chicken Pesto Hotwich, I added provolone, pesto, honey, light mayo, lettuce, dried cranberries and walnuts. Aside from the way you order a sandwich, what makes Which Wich unique is the variety of condiments you can add to your sandwich. What other sandwich shop has dried cranberries and walnuts?(They actually put them in a little cup so I can add them to my sandwich but I just snacked on them instead.) I was pretty happy with the sandwich I concocted. Everything I added went together pretty well. The only flaw of Which Wich is their bread. I didn’t like the taste that much — it wasn’t bad, it just tasted a little doughy. Jimmy John’s bread is much better. Since bread is half the sandwich, I knocked off a star for that. Otherwise, I’m a fan. The service was great and the place was very clean. The food came out pretty quick and it’s cheap by the way($ 5.50 for 7 inch). Very nice fountain drink selections. It’s a shame that it’s located way up by USF so I won’t be a frequent customer. But it’s an international chain so maybe I’ll visit them in another country. It will give me a reason to visit Qatar or Guatemela.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that this place isn’t a good option for those that are indecisive because the amount of options may be overwhelming for some. For those that are constantly customizing their orders at all restaurants– this is a great place to get exactly what you want! I especially appreciate the amount of options for sandwich sizes and amount of bread. If you want just a little bit of bread, they can make your sandwich ‘skinny’ but scraping out some of the bread guts to make room for more delicious fillings. With lots of different protein options, cheese options, veggie options, and other condiments, you can really get creative being a Sandwich Artist. So go ahead and get creative with that sriracha, peanut butter, and hard boiled egg! You can only blame yourself for your mad scientist creation ;)

Love the concept of ordering via a bag system. Grab your bag of choice and circle your list of ingredients. No waiting for annoying patrons who can’t make up their minds about what they want on a Sammie. It’s not rocket science people, it’s lunch! The Sammie’s are freshly made and they have lots of veggie options. I have been to the store in nc and very glad to see we now have a tampa location. Very close to Mosi, usf, making it very convenient when in the area. My tomato and avocado sand which was satisfying and prepared exactly how I ordered. I think they got the KISS principle right, keep it simple stupid! Will return as the selections are varied enough to try more.

First of all, the place is very clean and seems new. Moving away from cleanliness, I have to say that I like their approach to ordering food. You pretty much choose what you want on your sandwich on the paper bag you ultimately get your food in. Additionally, the people are nice and the prices are good too. I will definitely be back.

Awesome Cuban sandwich in birth place of Cuban sandwich. Slightly more pricey compared to subway but it is worth it as the menu is more up-scaled. The ordering system in unique and by filling out a form on your sandwich bag.

I stopped in to which which one day when I was running errands to grab a sandwich because I was so hungry. I’d heard good things about this place and recently received a coupon in my email. when I walked in I noticed the order menu board on the wall. While trying to decide on which wich to choose, I must have looked dazed and confused because one of the staff members came over to ask if it was my first time visiting. She then explained how to make my selections and order. She verified my order when I presented it to her at the register making sure I had everything I desired. I really appreciated her courteousness and assistance. Now to talk about the sandwich, I ordered the chicken pesto served hot and it was so good. I’ve eaten at a lot of sandwich places but what I love about Which Wich is the non traditional options available. I’m intrigued and interested in trying some of the other options. This is definitely a place I would return, too bad there isn’t one on my side of town because I’d probably go more often.

A great franchise. Seems like the love child of subway and chipotle. They taken elements from both– the assembly line construction of sandwiches and the pseudo-industrial interior. What they do differently is the ordering system where you fill out a sheet of the ingredients you want included. Pop quiz! Reminds me of a standardized test, but at least the answers are delicious. Their options are vast and they also have a rotating featured item titled«research and development.» Most importantly their ingredients are fresh compared to other sandwich shops. Their cookies are also baked to order. The price and quality makes this a great stop for students. They are close to usf so they can get busy. It may take a few tries to find the right sandwich for you but they have something for everyone.

Hmmm. It’s a pretty cool place! Literally just went there because it popped up out of no where. SOMANYOPTIONSANDCOMBINATIONS. Drove us crazy and we couldn’t decide what we wanted. So they have this thing called a bowlwich, which is pretty much a salad bowl with your choice of meat! I went with the corned beef bowlwich, and got a hotwich(hot meat)! So many wiches… The options as I said were endless. So many veggie options to put on your dish and dressings. You can ask them to put the sauce that you choose on the side so you can taste how it is before you put it in. Seriously though. Go back many many times to try all of the combos. Totally worth it!
