I love this place so much and it’s only my second time here. it’s so cute! the espresso drinks I’ve gotten so far are delicious. their paninis are bomb. perfect, relaxing place to study. be prepared to wait a little for a panini, especially at lunch and dinner time. it takes a little while. but it’s just the cutest little place ever and the staff is super friendly. there’s not much seating inside, it’s usually filled with students studying. there are seats outside though. I’ve deemed it my new study place, and I’ve been here one and a half times. yay :)

It was ok coffees. I think the place is more the trend and people than food. Just personal opinion.

Stopped here for a quick coffee break in the middle of the work day. The ambiance here very young and hip. The building itself is off the main road and looks like a tiny purple cottage. The decorations inside were vibrant and artsy. They had a fee local artworks in there, which gave it a good old Tampa feel to it. The servers here are great. Very helpful and funny. I had a few questions since it was my first time coming and they guided my through their menu with ease. I ordered the chocolate chai latte and oh Jesus, it was great. The chocolate flavor is pretty light, but goes great with the chai. If you’re addicted to chai lattes, you can break out of basic cycle and order a chocolate chai latte! They have other options too, but still recommend the chocolate chai. They even have coffee ice cubes, which is interesting. Warning though, they are decaf. tl;dr — awesome vibes paired perfectly with awesome coffee

This is one of those places unique to Tampa that you absolutely have to experience! The atmosphere, drinks, lunch food, and staff are all the best you could wish for! The building itself is adorable, and the prices are not outrageous. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already!

Small hidden coffee shop but by far one of the best barista and coffee in the area. I had the latte with honey. It’s delicious. The coffee bean is not bitter. Definitely coming back again.

I have been here since it opened… Back in the days where it still had a large inflatable pumpkin on the roof. Had beehive. It’s fine not wow but when it’s cold you gotta find anything to keep warm. The best thing about this place is the spiced chai. It also has a wide assortment of teas. The food is meh, but if you live as a hipster this is your place. Back in the day this was cool for the counter culture movement but now it’s for yuppies. The things you do to survive, but I don’t blame y’all. That’s what America’s about! Still the best place to chill and have tea /coffee in Temple Terrace.

Went here for the first time, even though I’ve been here for almost 3 years now. It’s a a tiny eclectic place, maybe not much bigger than a large living room with so much creativity inside. you order in the back. The selection isn’t very large, but I like that. It’s straight and to the point. There are different tea and coffee selections, different paninis to choose from and plenty of dessert! It all looked so tempting, but I finally decided on a Carmel latte! It was heavenly. Not to sweet and not too bitter. The Carmel flavor was very aromatic and spot on. I Will definitely be coming back to try some more things!

Wow very cool vibe. The owners are super friendly and provide great service. I ordered a hot snuf which was very spicy and tasty and had an oreo cupcake with it. I wasn’t satisfied and ordered a vanilla bean frappé to go. It was also very good. Definitely recommend this place.

There’s really nothing quite like felicitous. Its simply just right and fulfills a need I didn’t know I had. This place is great for students, coffee drinkers and just anyone seeking something different. The music is alternative, the coffee choices are fun and inventive. By the way, their dirty chai is the best incarnation of the drink I’ve ever had. The décor is very eclectic and nonserious. They have wall art, ceiling art, mismatched furniture. The wall art also rotates when they sell a local artist’s work. So this a great place to energize your creativity for writing or working on projects. There will be background noise because it’s popular among college students. They sell food as well. The food they offer isn’t as strong as their coffee/tea game, but I would say it’s a respectable side-hustle. I think the Linden bridge and vagabond are worth while. For desserts their tiramisu goes very well with alot of coffee choices. The staff also seems alternative in terms of appearance, but they are some of the most helpful, polite, and fun baristas I have encountered. There are some great coffee/tea places in the USF area, but felicitous still sets itself apart.

Felicitous is a homey coffee shop off of Fowler with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I specifically went looking for Felicitous, as I’d heard great things, and was glad I found it. I especially love all of the creative drinks, since I’m not a plain coffee drinker. I really enjoyed my Honey Bear at Felicitous, although, I was surprised that it was an additional $.50 to add a bit of cinnamon. I tried the quiche and thought it was just fair and probably wouldn’t get it again. For parking, there is a small private parking lot in the front. The pricing was a little higher than what I’d normally buy, but I like the creativity and know I’ll be back.

Been to this coffee shop a couple times and I love the vibe in this casual chill place. It reminds me of good ol’ college days, since this is located close to USF. There is free WiFi, and students are with their friends with their lap tops. Inside there are a handful of tables and couches. There’s coffees, teas, lattes, sandwiches, and sweet stuff. People working there are super nice and helpful with the menu with tons of options. I picked the thai iced tea frappé, and loved it lots. You can also sit outside. There is some shade and it’s on the side of the coffee house away from the tiny parking lot. There’s a walk by window there to order as well. You can have your dog outside with you, but not inside. I have found more coffee houses where they can be inside with you, but not here. All around a nice chill local coffee shop spot. I like it a lot!!! Their last impression they left on me is their cute sign on the porch, «Don’t forget that Kindness is Absolutely Free.»

I visited Felicitous on a rainy weekday to meet a friend for lunch. Parking was a bit of a struggle as there wasn’t much space in front of the lot. However, I decided to park in the shopping mall that is right across from Felicitous. No biggie there. Inside, it was what I expected it to be after having seen some pictures on Unilocal. It was quirky in a hippy, tea-loving, nirvana kind of way. There were lots of people inside working on personal computers, homework, reading, etc. It was like a smaller/local version of a certain chain restaurant I know. I ordered a hot Chai latte and caprese panini. My girlfriend ordered the Chai frappé and the cheesus panini. I really enjoyed the Chai latte. It was made with more spices than usual Chai lattes at other coffee shops I have visited. I really like the added spice to my Chai! Very comforting on a rainy day. The caprese panini was okay. I wasn’t impressed by it as it didn’t offer much flavor. The pesto helped punch up the flavor some but it was still missing something. Maybe some spinach leaves or different type of bread? The panini bread was a bit stale. It was crunchy, which may have been what they were going for but I thought it was a bit on the hard side. My friend’s sandwich was also just okay. I think her panini might have been missing some herb action… oregano maybe? Anyway, I was left with more to be desired. Maybe I need to try more of their bevvies as it seems like that’s what most people rave about here. I would go back for some hot drinks but probably not for the food.

One of my favorite places to get coffee and to meet up with friends. I always get the mississippi mud, which the best way to describe it is a s’mores coffee. It’s a generous amount and its not overly sweet which can be challenging for speciality, flavored coffee drinks. I’ve tried various of sandwiches there, and have yet to find one that I didn’t love. My only complaint is how small and crammed it is there, and the past few times I’ve been there, it was ridiculously hot. They had a few tabletop fans but it didn’t help with how hot and muggy it was in there. Hot coffee in a hot environment, not exactly preferred.

I wasn’t felicitous with my experience here. I intended on having lunch here but I didn’t want to spend nearly $ 15 on a sandwich and a drink so I just got an overpriced iced caramel latte instead where they charge extra for whip cream(really?). It took ten minutes for my small drink to arrive and within a couple minutes… poof…it was gone! Maybe the 80+ degree temperature inside the café made me extra thirsty. Quick look at their A/C controller indicated 78 degrees but it didn’t seem to be working. As far as the café itself, think of it as a scatterbrained old lady’s house — odd, mismatched things and old furniture throughout. I wouldn’t call it hipster, as some have mentioned, just because they serve drinks out of small mason jars. The young USF crowd seem to dig it though so they have a good following. Do not attempt to park in their lot or risk getting your car bumped into. It’s REALLY tight. One positive note: plenty of board games to play.

Cute little café with a hipster feel located in a quaint home, reminding me of Dandelion Café in Orlando. A lot of students come here to study, but due to lack of space, it can get pretty crowded. Don’t be surprised if you’re sharing tables or the couch. There’s a small parking lot of maybe 6 spots in the front, but you can also park in the big parking lot across the street. I wasn’t in the mood for coffee, so I tried their lavender tea. I usually don’t like lavender anything, but it was pretty decent. They have pastries, sandwiches, and salads too. I ordered the vagabond sandwich, which had big chunks of chicken and pesto. I’d come here again– I like that it’s pretty chill and quiet.

Cute, almost too cute, coffee shop near USF. It’s as if Etsy was a Starbucks. Repurposed chairs and tables, homemade sideshow-themed art, and mason jar frappes are the lay of the land. Barista was very friendly and film noir soundtrack playing in the background added to the ambience. In a part of town filled with miles of strip malls and parking lots, this gem really stands out.

This coffee shop offers what I would argue is the only bit of small business and culture in the immediate North Tampa area near the USF campus … & It is ironically located just behind the very busy Starbucks coffee shop to the side of the road. They have an adorable exterior and patio area with a welcoming homey interior. Id argue its a local«hipster» hangout of mainly young college students, the artistic and politically inclined bunch with the occasional graduate students popping-in for a quiet place to study. The menu fittingly offers several vegan and vegetarian drinks, meals and treats! With plenty of non-vegan items as well. I really loved the window service for those sitting outdoors. A great little detail that highlighted the unique environment. Oh & my latte + sandwich were perfect as I sat under the beautiful tree out there! MUST visit their website: for more info on the awesome community events they host!
