West Florida Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Phil Smith at the Carrollwood office is the worst ever! I was scheduled for my first appointment for next week. The receptionist called and asked if I could come in today as they had a cancellation. I agreed and showed up at the appointed time. I was kept waiting in the waiting room for 35 minutes after which I inquired of the receptionist if there was going to be an additional delay. She went to the backroom to check with Phil, the therapist. 5 minutes later he came out and asked rather arrogantly what my rush was and did I have some place I needed to be? I told him that I thought he owed me an explanation or an apology since I showed up on time, at his request, and for his convenience, but was kept waiting for what was now almost 45 minutes. I suggested that his office was not making a great first impression and that if I was going to commit to 38 more sessions with him, that I needed to know if he was committed to keeping his appointments on time. Never once did he attempt to show any understanding of or respect for my time. The entire time he had a sour, arrogant, F.U. expression on his face, and told me «if you don’t like it, take your business elsewhere». Which I did. I wish I could convey in more colorful terms just what a jerk this guy is.
