Love the place. People are so nice and friendly here. Both their drinks and food are tasty and good looking. Clean and organized. Reasonable price.

Nice small business, friendly staff. Had their signature Sips mocha on ice and it was very tasty. Didn’t try any pastries but they had an ok selection and I really liked the tea and smoothie options for those times when you don’t feel like coffee. They do have a drive through but go inside and relax a bit if you can.

I’ve been through the drive-through a few times and have not been disappointed. My favorite so far is the hot pumpkin cupcake latte. The price is comparable to Starbucks but in my opinion the quality is better. If I had more time in the mornings I’d love to stop inside sometime as I have heard the baked goods are delicious as well!

So, for my first trip to Sips it was stellar. I came in and was greeted by two people with warm personalities. I ordered the coffee and literally within seconds my drink was made I was baffled at how fast they finished my order. Starbucks can’t even do it that fast(personally hate Starbucks anyways) it was a pleasant experience and the coffee was delicious. I’ll be back ASAP as I work up the street.

The best coffee in town hands down. Conveniently located in citrus park and there is a drive through! Prices are surprisingly low and customer service is amazing. I’m obsessed, sorry Starbucks and Dunkin donuts but better prices and coffee make sips my coffee spot!

My 1st impression was that this is a friendly local place. The girls working helped me and my wife makes our selection by making suggestions and explaining some of the menu items. They have a good selection of hot, frozen and iced coffees. They also have s selection of yummy pastries. We had the Sips Mocha(their specialty) and a banana nut muffin. The coffee is a mix of white chocolate and caramel(can’t go wrong with that) and the muffin was rich and a bit dense, just like I like them. They have tables inside and outside. It’s a nice place to come hang out for a bit and enjoy some tasty treats.

Sips is a charming local coffee shop. I had to try the special ‘sips mocha’, a latte with white chocolate and swirls of caramel. Yum-my! This is my desert for the day. The special flavor for the week is gingerdoodle(gingerbread and cookie dough). They had 6 muffin flavors: double chocolate, lemon poppyseed, banana nut, blueberry, cranberry orange, and healthy harvest. I opted for the banana nut and wasn’t disappointed. On a warm day I plan to try the frozen hot chocolate(I’d like to see how it compares to the famous serendipity). They also have tea, chai, smoothies, bagels, and cakes. The place is clean and decorated for the holidays.

I absolutley love mom-and-pop coffee shops like this one. There’s a very comforting feeling as soon as you walk in. Sips made me forget I was in Florida; it reminded me a lot of the coffee shops in Alaska. Even more comforting was the fact that they knew their customers by name, as well as the different drinks they liked. I tried a white mocha and it was made perfectly. I’m used to coffee shops making white mochas extremely sweet, but with this once, I could actually taste the espresso(which is the whole point!). They also have growlers tou can buy & bring back for refills of their brew!

This gets one of my rare 5 star reviews and it isn’t a debate. I love that it’s so close to my house when I visit Tampa. I always get the chai latte cold and everytime I get I constantly ask myself what I did in my life to deserve such an amazing experience in my mouth. Perfect flavor and flawless execution. Starbucks can’t wipe sips’ nose!

My favorite locally owned coffee shop in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area. Service is always friendly and fast, the shop is clean, nice décor. It feels like you’ve popped in to their kitchen at home for a cup of coffee. Also has a drive thru if you don’t feel like walking in. The drinks are always good, so much better than a chain coffee shop or the vile swill you’ll get from a gas station or from a fast food drive thru. They have a whole line up of pumpkin infused creations for you #psl addicts.

Delicious locally owned coffee shop. Great menu that includes baked goods and more, as well as your favorite coffee beverages. Friendly to those with special dairy needs — I really liked my soy latte. I always try to stop by or visit through the drive thru when I’m in town. Super friendly staff, and quick service considering everything is handmade to order.

I really enjoyed this mom and pop coffee shop and agree that it makes you feel like you are at your mom or grandma’s home. The staff was helpful and efficient and the shop was warm and inviting. I tried a hot pumpkin latte and it was very good. I also had a frozen matcha tea and it was fantastic! They offered to sweeten the tea with a bit of vanilla and it was perfect… I will be back for that:) They also have a variety of organic herbal items and other gifts for sale.

For better or worse the coffee shop barometer is the institutionalized Starbucks. Fortunately, sips stacks up. They have the quality of drinks to survive. Beware if you are allergic to hipster because yes. They have different assorted furniture and knick-knacks. Not everything is tasteful like christmas lights or fake vines(very floridian). A young couple seemed to be having some awkward date talking about their feelings and love of music. I’ve built a resistance over the years. I had the turtle frap? It has caramel pecan and chocolate etc. Not overpoweringly sweet– just right. A pleasant surprise. I wasnt going to review from one drink, but the customer service is fantastic. On staff was a grandma and grandson duo. Really? The grandson Connor did my order and also followed up to see if I liked it. He was very friendly and kinda adorable. This place is straight up kittens and marshmallows.

If you asked me why I love Sips enough to give this mom and pop place five stars, I couldn’t just give you one answer – it’s the package that makes it wonderful, not just any one thing. But whatever it is, it combines to the feeling of coming home – and I’m not talking my messy, crazy house, but your mom’s or maybe grandma’s restful and cozy house that’s filled with all the scents and yummy baked goods from home. But the atmosphere isn’t enough by itself – I’m a stickler for my coffee, and this place surpassed the bar. My default iced coffee was smooth and rich and had plenty of flavoring options, but it was the Frap that was really to die for. Not too icy like a lot of local places, and rich ice cream-like goodness in every flavor you could want. All with a place you can settle in comfortably to work or meet someone(inside and out), or with a drive thru if you’re on the move. Come and check it out – you won’t regret it!

Great little independent coffee shop. It can be a little tough to find(I always have to do a u-turn to get into it), but it is worth making the extra effort to visit this tiny gem. There is plenty of parking out front, and they also have a convenient drive-thru window. It has become something of my Friday ritual to get coffee here before work, and exchange gossip with the two awesome women that work there in the mornings, Cece and Kelly. Currently, I’m working my way through different flavored lattes. They have a ton of options to choose from when it comes to syrups, and I love that they have different combinations worked out for different seasons. So happy they have soy milk for those of us who need to stay away from lactose. All of your standard coffee cocktails are available: mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, etc. in hot, frozen, or over ice. I would say that the baristas here are definitely coffee specialists. They actually time how long your espresso brews for, to make sure it’s the right consistency and flavor. Apparently, if it is not exact, the coffee will be bitter. And I have certainly had some bitter coffee from some of those big box store coffee shops(you know who you are), so I believe there is truth to this science. Stop in, hang out, have fun, drink coffee.

What can I say? I only did the drive through and felt like a family member. I got a cuppa, cuppa coffee, with hot chocolate, french vanilla & whipped cream… yummy. They brought me an assortment of various danishes, muffins & assorted goodies, that I just could not resist. I took a coco late chip breakfast bar. This was more than plenty for breakfast & it was filling, fresh & very tasty. Most protien or healthy breakfast bars taste like sawdust, not this one. It was very moist and the flavor was very satisfying. Will I be back… you bet. I gotta try the tea & of course a smoothie. What’s a girl to do? Keep looking & you will find all you want & need.
