Terrible. I brought my beloved green leather purse in to be cleaned. I specifically told the store that if they thought the purse couldn’t be cleaned or would be damaged that I would just like it back. When I picked it up I cried, literally. My once super soft beautiful purse was ruined. It was stiff and the wear areas were 3x as worn looking and the color was actually rubbed off on several areas. Still crying. I called the store and explained to them what happened. They told me it was super common for this to happen to colored purses. If only I was told that prior I could have kept my purse.

Won’t repair or replace ruined comforter… or even refund the cleaning fee! Richie’s Carrollwood store ruined my comforter, It was returned November 3, 2014 with the filling lumped and balled up in numerous spots, when spread out on a smooth surface. The manager, Gabe Maress, claimed that this condition was«within the acceptable range» of dry cleaning results, and so it was my problem, not his. He refused to repair or replace the comforter, which cost $ 250 new; he didn’t even refund the cleaning fee. It was only 9 months old and in perfect condition when I brought it in. He never warned me that his shop could not be counted upon not to damage my property. Had he done so I would have taken it somewhere else or spot cleaned it myself. Merchants should stand behind their work and take responsibility for what they break. That’s Small Business 101. It’s also the law. I will remind Gabe that when we meet in small claims court. You can too, by taking your business elsewhere.
