I love this Qdoba! Always fast and the employees are very friendly. I’ve never been short served here, everything is always awesome. I come here for lunch at least once a week and it’s always a good experience.

I’ve picked up food for lunch from here twice so far(never dined in, but the restaurant has ample seating, but not-so-ample parking in the strip mall). I am definitely a fan… this will be my favorite fast food«cheat» place. I like the quick assembly food preparation line and the friendly service. Oh, and the prices aren’t bad either. I’ve only had the smothered burrito — on recommendation from the staff — once with shredded beef and once with pulled pork… they tasted completely different based on the items I picked and I loved them both, but definitely preferred the flavor of the pulled pork. It’s very big, so bring your appetite!

I love Qdobe — I’m not ashamed of it. It’s my favorite assembly-line tex-mex joint, although Chipotle tickles different taste buds and is a close second. But yeah, better than the others. I always get the same thing — chicken nachos with regular queso(they have different kinds now) salsa roja(i.e. the hot red sauce), sour cream, and guacamole. This store was near closing when I visited, but everything was prompt and efficient. Chips were way too salty in my to-go order, however, which is unusual. Coke remix machine for soft drinks. Clean restrooms. Reasonable pricing akin to similar restaurants. Same sterile, cold ambiance all the other Qdobes have, which I wish they’d change, but probably easy to clean. This location is sort of a «college joint» on the periphery of USF, so it was a young crowd when I visited, as compared to the location in suburban Brandon that I visited last trip down. You got that right, I always try to get some Qdobe on my trips since there are none near me anymore. Bottom-line, go check it out — there’s a joint like this for everybody.

Qdoba is my top pick in the«quick Mexican» market. Their shredded brisket is outstanding and something I crave. I also really like the flavor of the cilantro lime rice — just a little extra kick. In the past few years they have offered Craft 2 — their version of a pick a pair or mix and match meal option. I also think their cheese sauce is the closest to authentic flavors and makes for amazing nachos. I am not a huge fan of massive burritos, but I love Qdoba’s option to build my burrito in a bowl and get the warm tortilla on the side, letting me make a few small tacos/wrap ups on my own. This location is usually busy and the dining area is sometimes rather messy, but the staff is friendly, helpful and usually on top of keeping the tables neat.

Qdoba Mexican Grill, Tampa, Fl Visited Qdoba Mexican Grill in Tampa on Monday, October 20th, 2014 after spending the afternoon in the area. The place is located in a shopping strip so it’s hard to see it. However, the place was neat, clean and well-lit. The staff was friendly and the establishment smelled so good. We ordered the chicken burrito and the crafty 2(great idea — small tacos and bowl). The food tasted great, nice portions and reasonable price. The concept is very much like Moes or Chipotle, which is fine. The food at Qdoba doesn’t come with chips. Would I go back? Yes!

I LOVED living in Malibu apts to have easy walking distance Qdoba. I used to be a Moe’s girl but I feel like Qdoba is fresher and tastier. This location is kept up very nicely, big and open, and staff is friendly. Lots of USF students and a USF discount. I always get the steak burrito so that’s all I can review on, but the steak is tasty and not super chewy like some other burrito joints. I love the cilantro rice! I wish the prices were a little lower and maybe included some chips or something(Tallahassee’s location(Now closed) included free chips and I was told they were the only one that did… hopefully that’s not why they closed!), but it is tasty and pretty quality!

Surprisingly good. I basically enhaled my burrito. It’s not a traditional burrito by any means, but it’s definitely on par with chipotle and the sauces are a good touch

I’ve only gone there for the Nacho Supreme dish they have(fried and salted tortilla chips with sea salt, with steak/beef/chicken/pork {what ever meat you choose), and the usual toppings that would go on a nacho dish). Their quaso cheese is to die for. Their food is really great. Food is always fresh and burritos, tacos, or other dishes are custom made right in front of you, according to what you want in your food. They are a bit pricy and could/should be a tad bit lower. I suppose the food is well worth it. Customer service is average. They cater to mainly the local USF students(10% USF student discount). Its a pleasant place to dine in, as well. Nothing to fancy, just a social environment and atmosphere, the equivalent to going to a Starbucks and having coffee or whatever. All and all it’s worth trying.

I was absolutely starving on my way home from work and I can always count on Mexican to be vegetarian-friendly. I walked in when it was dead, and the girl at the counter was pretty well-aware, which I appreciate. I elected for a cheese quesadilla, since that seems safe. However, all I was allowed to get was cheese and salsa! Now, I’m not a girl that is too picky, but I do like other chains that give me options to put into my food, like lettuce, black olives, fresh lime, something. Additionally, the girl overstuffed the quesadilla and it fell apart, and her coworker/supervisor was berating her in front of me. And why couldn’t I have chips for free? I didn’t want anything else, especially not more salsa or guac since that came with my food, so I got queso… $ 4 I’ll never get back. Kinda disappointed, I like other chains more.

Great food, HUGE burritos. The ingredients are very fresh and guacamole y queso are very authentic. This beats Moe’s hands down!(I may be a little biased on that part; however, I did work at a Moe’s for 2 years).

I’ve been eating at Qdoba for several years now and it’s by far one of the better tasting burrito places it the area. I used to come here at least twice a week when I lived on campus. My only complaint and why I’ve been coming here less and less has a lot to do with the boring atmosphere, they don’t serve beer, and they always screw up my burrito wrap. However food is good and always has been.

Qdoba is what I consider a not fast-fast food restaurant. You walk up to a counter, order, and walk down a line as they build your foot item. The food is fairly good, ingredients taste fresh. There is a nice selection of different items, you are not limited to a taco, burrito, or quesadilla. Everything is made to order, which means even the picky eaters can make sure that they get what they want. My big complaint with Qdoba is the price. They are a little higher on the price side. Normally I order their two for $ 7 deal, as it offers the best bang for your buck. A burrito can cost upwards of $ 8. Service is good, employees were friendly and food was prepared fairly fast. My second complaint is that the store is parked on an odd corner of a very busy road. Expect problems getting in and out, especially if its rush hour. I would recommend Qdoba, but again, keep in mind the prices of the meals.

Qdobas is another burrito place in a long-list of burrito places around USF. I like coming here for the«Craft 2» menu. For $ 7 and change you can get two items such as tacos, quesadilla, soup or salad. Good portion sizes and everything is fresh. Not the most innovative menu but fresh and tasty nonetheless. Definitely the healthiest(in my opinion) of similar chains. Service is always fine, and they encourage you to take advantage of the discounts(check out their USF student discount and their rewards/points program.) A good choice when we’re on our way to MOSI or BG.

My expectations were definitely higher than reality with this experience. The two staff members working at the time were not very friendly; the girl in the front had a hard time putting her phone down the whole time we were there. Personally, I think that is a bit unprofessional. The food was a bit old tasting, as if had been sitting out for a while, however, this could have just been because it was the end of the day. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants in the area. I bought the Taco Salad and wasn’t that impressed. The shell wasn’t too crunchy and the toppings weren’t that fresh. It was too expensive for the quality of food. I think I’ll refrain from returning here.

Even though Qdoba has a queso sauce, the flavors and freshness do not compare with some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. It felt like something was missing. The portions on the Craft 2 meal were smaller than expected. I will say that the mango salsa and the cilantro lime dressing on the Mango Salad were delicious. The pico de gallo and corn salsa were not spicy at all! I would have liked to have a little«zip» to those salsas.

Mmm! I loved Chipotle until I had Qdoba. It’s basically the same– same ingredients, same price, same arrangement– but Qdoba has this amazing ranchero/queso sauce that I would probably drink if I wasn’t afraid of being called the biggest glutton ever. It completely changes the taste of the food, in a good way, and Chipotle doesn’t have anything like that.

Qdoba is nothing particularly different from Chipotle in terms of food fare, thought the quality and portions are consistent. They are also able to get orders done in good time, and the location is convenient to the interstate, which is why I visit them frequently on school nights. Their fresh guacamole is a treat… it’s definitely made from fresh avocados and is tasty, which is a big reason why I give them repeat business. Overall, though, Chipotle is probably a more solid option.

Come on, Tampa — do we REALLY need another burrito place? Chipotle, Moe’s, Tijuana Flats, and now Qdoba adorn Tampa’s list of burrito dining options. I rank Qdoba as equal with Chipotle — except Chipotle’s steak is much jucier and more flavorful. Other than that, Qdoba’s just YABP(yet another burrito place).
