Was in town for the weekend for the Gasparilla parade. We ended up back at the hotel for a bite to eat, the bar was jammed up. Service and food definitely worth the wait. Our server was awesome and the food came out in 20 minutes!

I’ve stayed at this hotel several time but it’s my first time writing a review. Your bartenders are AWESOME! I love the fish tacos too!

The atmosphere is good. The food is average, but the staff does need work. There a bit rough around the edges. This could be a great place for game time with a little staff training in true hospitality.

Horrible…$ 7 bottle of that they put in little. Small portions of soup and salad. Expensive. Good tv’s though

Good place grab a beer and watch the game. However service and food were just meh. Would find somewhere else to eat.

Nothing special about this place located inside double tree I’ve been here a few days for business so ate here a few times players burger very unique and pretty damn good service is OK could be better but could be worse pizza is average no complaints drinks are good TVs are nice I have to say I have no problems would definitely come back its not to overly priced but the flavors for most part are just OK fish tacos were put together very sloppy all in all nice place to have a beer n burger and watch the game I would return!

The place has potential meaning it looks good and set up nicely but needs better food and staff. Both were subpar.

Room great for the price. The players sports bar. Was good. The French dip sliders were unbelievable. The players grilled cheese was great. We came here 2 times in 3 hrs. Would stay here again. We stayed here on a trip to Greece. Parked car for 14 days and sleep very nice hotel to park and sleep and travel. Would stay here again.

Located in the Doubletree is this little sports bar. They were nice enough to put on the game I wanted to watch. First night I had the burger and it was so-​so but the fries were perfect.
The second night I had them send up the chicken sandwich to my room. After back-​to-​back 14 hour work days, I wanted to eat on the balcony in my room. I got every imaginable condiment, the chicken was seasoned great and moist. And they didn’t spill my milk. Bonus!

It’s an ok place. Smaller than the average sports bar but still with plenty tv. The menu is a bit small but the chicken wings were very good! It’s a nice place to go if you’re in one of the many hotels in the area.

Kitchen has some serious management issues. I waited an hour for a burger right off the menu, no special requests. The restaurant was not even crowded. If the kitchen is that backed up, I understand that happens from time to time (I worked in a restaurant kitchen for 3 years), but I’d appreciate a little warning next time.
On the other hand, the waitress was very friendly and did the best she could under the circumstances.
Would recommend avoiding this restaurant if at all possible while you’re in Tampa. The McDonalds down the street would get a better review than this.

Ordered the 3 item Sampler off appetizers. Chicken wings were cold, empanada had mushy texture inside, the coconut shrimp was only good thing. We told the bartender the food was not good and he just shrugged it off, probably bc he’s used to hearing it. Dont waste your $

The menu wasn’t updated, 3 of what I wanted wasn’t served anymore. What” sports bar” doesn’t sell nachos?!. The main reason I wanted to come was to try the nachos. I opted for the players wings, buffalo chicken empanadas and mini crab cake bites with sweet tea. The décor is very trendy and right near the main entrance of the Double Tree hotel. Sweet tea isn’t as sweet as I’d prefer but it wasn’t bitter, waiter didn’t ask if I wanted lemon, I do NOT. There’s no games such as pool tables but lots of tv’s to watch sports on. The food overall was tasty, however I didn’t like that they only offered blu cheese as a dressing for the wings and everything else came with blue cheese too. The waiter got my order wrong he was too busy telling me what others liked. I didn’t see any kid friendly foods. I probably won’t come back

Sunday night football with big crowd but only one waitress. She worked hard but impossible to keep up. Need to adequately staff! Otherwise would have been great.

So I have been here many times, it’s convenient when traveling as it’s in the Doubletree on Cypress in Tampa where I stay quite often for work.
The service is is getting a lot better, tonight we went for a few drinks and an app. This place was jam packed. Our server was good, but the food came out ice cold. She was very cool about it, removed from bill and comped us a round. I waited a bit til the kitchen wasn’t buried and tried something else. Came out hot and good.
This is a sports bar and your expectations need to be set there, good for watching games and having «snacks» or that super late night meal if you travel.

Just to give an update to the much older reviews.
Stayed in the hotel for four nights. Found a great deal on
so I bought 2 offers.
To give you a short synopsis, the prior reviews still stand. Poor service, poor food, and overpriced menu. And the slowest kitchen in Tampa Bay.
Because my arrival to the hotel was late and I was hungry, I decided to eat light and order a salad. When I went down to the restaurant, they had a Caesar salad on the menu for $ 11.95. For a whopping $ 6.95 you could add chicken. Who has ever paid $ 18 for a chicken Caesar salad in a sports bar?
I waited nearly 25 minutes for a salad, and when it came out they had used bottled Caesar dressing and it was terrible. The chicken breast was overcooked and dry which probably required the whole 25 minutes to kill.
I sent it back, and reordered a chicken goat cheese flatbread with carmelized onions and balsamic vinegar. Sounded like a glorious combination, and it would have been if it was served hot. It also took 25 minutes to come out.
Because it was so slow, my waitress bailed out and shifted me to another waitress. When I finally got the attention of the second waitress, I asked her if it was routine to wait 25 minutes for a flatbread appetizer and have it served cold? She apologized profusely, and came back to advise that the bill was comped.
Now I know why this restaurant was couponing. They need to do something to draw in customers, but don’t be taken in buy a coupon. Trust in Unilocal

I came here for wings, just wings, to satisfy a craving. After asking the waiter how they were, he said that people have told him they’re the, «Best they’ve ever had.»
So I opted in for «Hot» and «Crispy» after contemplating the burger, which sounded very yummy.
All in all, they ARE indeed very good. 10 plump wings (5 drums & 5 wings) with a very flavorful sauce. They weren’t as hot as I would have expected, ordering «Hot.»
The chick at the table next to me ordered the burger. It looked very good, but the best thing about it was her putting it into her mouth, because it shut her up! I almost moved tables, because she was so annoying. And yes, she berated the waiter with requests, sent her burger back because it was overcooked (looked perfect to me), and spilled her juice all over the table. I hope she tips well.
Back to the wings. Yes, they’re worth it. Nicely done!
The atmosphere is nice. I’d like to stay, but this chick is driving me nuts! Now she’s on her cellphone. 2^nd burger showed up and after totally dissecting it with a knife, she accepted it. Geez!
Gotta run! And fast… she’s eating it with her mouth open! Ugh! To Go box, please!

It was just ok. Drinks are a ripoff, just like at any hotel bar. I guess it just didn’t differentiate itself from any other hotel bar. It’s billed as a sports bar and the only thing sports bar-​ish about it are the many televisions showing games. I will say, however, that the food I saw there looked very good. But other than that, I won’t make any special trek to return.

We came here to watch the Philadelphia Eagle’s game with the Tampadelphian’s Club.
Great location inside the Doubletree with free parking.
Service started slow, but improved. This was impressive since the place was absolutely packed with Eagle’s fans.
Food was good and drinks were cold. We were supposed to get a discount on the food (courtesy provided to Tampadelphians), but it was not applied to our bill :(
The number and size of televisions could be improved to make this a more perfect «sports» bar.
We will try it again next season!

I was apprehensive about eating here, but must say it was great! The burger was wonderful (see my photo) and the chicken parm sandwich was pretty good, although I didn’t love the focaccia bread. The fries were perfect! Service was pretty decent, the TV spectrum was pretty amazing, I’ll gladly go here to watch games. Let’s hope the next visit is as positive.
