one thing that real pisses me off is any place that call a 14inch pie a NY large which in NY is 16 inch’s with out exception

Having been born and raised in Chicago, I was spoiled by indepedent pizza places. In Tampa, there are precious few of those, so I was pleased to find Pizza d’Carlo in my own neighborhood. Had my first pizza there today, and it was tasty! The lunch special for $ 5.99 was a really good deal, and they have a nice selection of toppings that were fresh and yummy. Also had the breadsticks… They were also good, made even better with a brushing of garlic butter and some solid marinara. Will enjoy the next order even more as they promise a free order with a review! :)

One of the few things open on a night of unfortunate insomnia and insatiable hunger. Now that Taco Bus is out of the question for me, I looked high and low to find this little gem. The online ordering was a little finicky and wouldn’t let us choose delivery, but they were only 7 miles away so picking up wasn’t so bad. We got a couple of calzones and their cheesy garlic bread– all of which were amazingly good. The only reason I haven’t rated them 5 stars is because I’ve only been once, but I’m planning on making a habit of it unless I have the same problems with the rudeness other people have complained about. We will see, but so far, so good!

Horribly rude service. I’m not sure why but the owner of the restaurant had an attitude from the moment I walked in. She seemed irritated that I used a groupon, even though I presented it to her PRIOR to placing my order. My order wasn’t even complete before she asked me for tax and tip… Pizza was okay but not worth $ 14.99 for a medium.

One of the better pizza places in Temple Terrace. I was impressed. Had one with chicken and another was the supreme. Served these to guests and they loved them. Have been back and in fact getting ready to place an order now.

They serve nice thin crust pizzas. The 8″ was square’ish and came out extremely hot. The papalina pizza comes with fresh sliced tomatoes, basil, and garlic — no sauce. I found the pizza to be quite tasty once it cooled down enough to eat. They warrant a return visit to try some of the other pies.
