I will put forth a stern warning to anyone even considering purchasing food from this place. Back in ’04 our company moved into an office park down the street and I got a car full of folks to go down there to get some food. We pulled up to the place, and it was looked like it should be condemned. The front door was gaping wide open with no screen door. We walked in, and saw that the place was dirty, smelled like a truck stop, and there were bugs on the floor. We went ahead and walked up to the counter and got ready to place our order while the guy working there was taking a long order on the phone, The longer we were there the more spooky stuff we started to see. The kitchen had a 2 inch layer of grease over the walls and ceilings, it was dirty, the guy was sweating profusely because the place had no AC, and we started seeing lots of roaches scurrying across the walls. The guy comes up to take our order, and a roach runs ACROSSTHEMENU! At that point, we all decided that enough was enough and walked out. As we were leaving, a roach crawled across a kids shoe that was eating a slice at one of the tables. It was like a a bad dream. This was by far the dirtiest and scariest restaurant I have ever set foot in. Now, could the place have cleaned up their act since then? Sure, but I’m not going back there.

The Munchie’s Pizza is one of the best, floppy, greasy slices in Tampa. I really enjoyed going to this place. The cheese was robust and flavorful and their spinach and mushroom pizza always was delicious! I’m not sure I’m a big fan of their white pizza though. I miss coming here! :-( BTW– it isn’t sketchy inside. It’s only sketchy in the parking lot! :-p
