I would never say anything bad about a place who gave me joy, who gives me food so that I could’ve the strength to carry on.
Krystals is not just any ordinary burgers, I would say its not just burger, its a delicious burger. The chilli cheese pups was also great, there’s too much exaggeration on the photo but the taste is definitely good.
Will come back again if I am in the area.

Dont even waste your time, I rather drive to Tennessee 10hrs for White castle.

The burger taste it like was frozen for weeks. Dry bread. Horrible place never ever again, Not even free i will eat there

I grew up in Ga and these were as popular as mcdonalds.
I absolutely love them and I’ve passed that on to my children.
Sadly, there are only two locations in Tampa and neither are near me.
I love the soggy bread, the mustard and pickles. Goodness in a tiny burger.
The staff was friendly for being a fast food joint.

I was very surprised when I dropped by the Krystal drive thru last Friday night on my way back from Busch Gardens. I was shocked by the quality of service which I have just missed from other fast food establishments in recent years. Staff are fast, friendly and very polite. I am lucky at other fast food places if I can get a smile anymore, let alone a thank you.
It has probably been 4 – 5 years since I last visited Krystal and this was a pleasant experience and I would definitely consider returning to this location in the future.

KRYSTAL… I guess one either loves or hates them?
I cook a great deal in my spare time and freely admit to often being a food snob. That said, being a child of the 70’s, I still find myself craving the occasional fast food.
Krystal has always been a RARE and unique choice for our area. They used to have more stores here about 15+ years ago?
Being from St. Pete, I was very happy they opened a S Dale Mabry location! Then they CLOSED! So this location is now my nearest to get my fix.
In the North, they have White Castle. In the South, we have Krystal.
Their humble little sliders are so very satisfying when one gets the craving. Of course, like WC, they are also legendary for being a great ending to a night of heavy drinking!
For me, it’s the Krystal «Chik» that is the stand-​out here. NO mystery-​McNugget-​meat, just 100% chicken breast with a little mayo and a pickle slice.
It’s fast food perfection, sort of like a Chick-​Fil-​A «slider!»
It’s too bad for me that this location is a bit far away in Tampa, and in an area I’d normally avoid.
I reeeally wish a Krystal would open in St. Pete!

Krystal is a restaurant I see mostly /​only in the south but not too far into southern Florida. In north Florida, Georgia, Carolinas pretty much they are easy to find.
Well these Krystal mini burgers were like a staple for young kids who didn’t have much money and loved to eat mini burgers. So… when I want to feel like a kid again just buy a dozen or so Krystals and it takes me back about 2 decades or so.
While this is not the best food it’s cheap. That’s about all I can really say about Krystal that they’re not great but they’ll get you through a long drive if you have a bag full of them. Driver safe? Better than trying to eat a two handed burger while driving…

Krystal’s can be mostly found in the Southeast. I grew up on these little lovely burgers. I missed them since moving to Texas. There was a Krystals in Fort Worth off of N Beach St, but it closed down and was replaced by Dickey’s BBQ. Bleh. When they say everything is bigger in Texas, I guess it’s true for the little burgers too. Sorry, Krystal’s, you are missed by me at least!
I remember when they just had the plain ol classic Krystal burgers with onion, pickle, and the little patty. Then they came out with the chiks, pups, and breakfast. I noticed they add double and triple patties. Along with bacon and cheese and mushroom and swiss.
I just kept it old school and went with the classic. Husband got the pup dog along with classics too. My kid loved them! Too bad they aren’t in Texas.

I just had Krystal’s for lunch. It’s almost like a southern White Castle. I had 2 cheeseburgers and 2 hamburgers with fries and 2 pup dogs. They are mini chili dogs. Krystal’s puts mustard on their burgers instead of ketchup. It was good but I love The Castle more

I love their burgers and fries. But I wouldn’t buy a breakfast from them. Lunch, a snack and or diner anytime.

What can I say about the original sliders. They are so bad for you, but once in awhile they just call out to you. They have been around all my life & there is m ust nothing else like these soft bun tiny burgers. Ya gotta love them!

Today I was looking for something different, perhaps nostalgic, basic comfort food. Krystal Burger is similar to a place we visited when I was growing up that was considered a treat. My visit today was exactly what I expected. No frills sliders.
The best part of my visit was that customer service was breaming as you entered. The people working there were genuinely eager to greet and help you with your order. Immediately as I walked I was greeted with a warm hello and a full smile; with a couple of friendly comments about the sports logo on my shirt. They politely offered me an upgrade to large (be careful, large is 44 ounce soda so there is a lot). They even brought my meal to my table and cleared the table after I was finished.
I only ordered the basic Krystal Burger, fries and soda. The burgers were hot and the buns soft practically melting in your mouth. Garnished with pickle and onion with a dab of mustard (my one complaint ever since I was really young, regardless where, never enough mustard) which adds that pizazz. This whole combination is a bursting explosion of flavor of warm spiciness.
The only negative was the dining room did need some maintenance attention to improve the overall appearance.

Perfect late nite vittles. Always hot, usually fresh. usually because sometimes I get «re-​fried» fries. But the burgers are always spot on. Hot, greasy and unhealthy as hell. Thank you Rody Davenport Jr.

While traveling back and forth from Clearwater to Moffitt for 10 days, I saw a Krystal in my travels. I’m from Michigan and remember White Castle burgers very fondly and just had to stop
. I’ve ended up stopping 4 times in those 10 days and every time I stop, whether drive-​thru or walk-​in, I am met with awesome customer service as well as delicious little burgers from heaven! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and hot. Definitely recommend this Krystal for its food and wonderful service!

For fast food, the service at this place is wonderful! Makes the food taste that much better!

What can I say, it was my birthday and it brings back great memories. We got the doubles, I removed the middle piece of bread. The onions and mustard make it! Shun ketchup. Skip the fries, very plain, and not salted.

Ah… Krystal. A place I don’t think I’ve ever actually been before midnight.
After a couple of cocktails, nothing tastes better, and if you get a few extra, and seal the bag to retain moisture, they microwave to almost the exact same taste and texture as when freshly made.
Yes, I love me some K-​burgers… just not during daylight hours.
