Not a good first impression. Order was wrong. Coffee was sinfully cold. Eggs tasted of a dirty grill and bacon was barely heated. Cuban cheese toast was ok. Prices were low but so was food quality.

This is a long-time Cuban/Spanish restaurant offering all the standards, including Cuban sandwiches, black beans & rice, chicken & yellow rice, etc. Conveniently located on the corner of Dale Mabry & Kennedy as a border outpost of Cuban cuisine before you venture into the South Tampa more-American fooderies. Very popular, particularly for lunches, and a regular stop for many locals who contend it offers the best Cuban dishes. It is very good, but does not get my top rating until one of the Russian missles still hidden in Cuban levels La Teresita.
