Had a tripleta and café con leche about 8 hrs ago, and I’m still not hungry. Fast and friendly service, and solid coffee.

Yes, amazingly this tiny coffee/sandwich shop survives next door to La Teresita Grocery, with the Churro/Sandwich Food Truck next to it and no more than 300 feet from 5 other places that serve coffee & sandwiches or more. Their espresso is excellent &60 cents for a cafecito. They also have bargain tropical batidos(smoothies) and juices and an impressive list of sandwiches, including cuban, beef of chicken tripletas, and ultimate steak, all huge and most in the $ 4 – 6 range. Only a few stools for eat-in but most business is take-out, including breakfast sandwiches. This upstart is testing the limits of how many coffee/sandwich shops can survive in less than a block… and they are competing the right way with quality, price & service.

I agree! Been coming here for their sandwiches — including my favorite cuban in town — for over a year now. Inca Cola among other latin american sodas are also available. Good café con leches, and wonderful hosts you feel good giving your money to.

A gem in a strip mall! Never did try the Cuban sandwich, because the Utlimate and Steak(I think that’s what they were called) were too good to pass up! Shoestring potatoes on a sandwich?! what can go wrong?
