The service was really slow. So if you’re in a rush, skip this place or find out what the cook quicker. On the good side, the burger and fries were quite good and it has sports on the tv.

Stay away from Green Iguana at tampa airport unless you like spending $ 19.50 for a glass of pino grigio. I am told by the BBB that they can charge whatever they want. Other Green Iguana restaurants I spoke with also thought it was outrageous. I guess the airport can charge people whatever they want for whatever. Beware before you order that glass of pino

The chips came straight out of the bag and so did the salsa. The prices are wayyy too high for that quality. Everything came in Styrofoam cups and plates like at a cheap restaurant. But again, the prices did not reflect that at all. No no no

Airport restaurants are always a tricky field to navigate — some are delicious, and some make you want to never eat again. Green Iguana would be one of the better airport restaurants I’ve experienced, with a lot to do with the waitress Michelle that we had, who was so sweet and friendly, which made the experience exponentially more enjoyable. My fiancé and I came here before a flight to Newark for a quick snack prior to boarding(and by snack, I mean drinks and nachos). We asked our waitress Michelle what she recommended and she said their Bloody Mary’s were spicy and delicious, which was an instant sell. My fiancé got Tito’s and orange juice(and he made it a double), and the drinks came out VERY quickly — and, true to description, the Bloody was super spicy and DELICIOUS. Like, did not taste overly salty like the premixed Mrs. T’s they give you on the plane delicious. The nachos were piled high(the guac tasted a little off, was likely Sabra or something premade/bought), and just what we were looking for in a snack to tide us over. I can’t speak to the other menu options, but based on what we ordered, I’d definitely come here again.

So, here at Tampa International. TSA Pre, not very crowded, have little over an hour to kill and haven’t eaten anything yet. Terminal A, my choices are: *Pizza Hut *Quiznos *Auntie M Pretzels *Starbucks Or this interesting looking«Tiki-Bar»… Bright green neon lights that say«Green Iguana» are drawing me in. I stand at the sign that says wait to be seated. It’s busy, but lady finally comes over and asks«bar or table?» I choose table. Waitress arrives promptly and before I order I ask her 2 questions: *“Can I be in and out within 1hr?” *“Can I modify items on the menu to my liking?“ She happily answered Yes to both. I ordered the«Tampa Cuban», with sweet potato fries. The food came out fast, and it was actually pretty good. Not quite the Cuban I was looking for, but then again, they never claimed for it to be. It is in fact named the Tampa Cuban, which means they’re acknowledging the fact it’s not the traditional Cuban, but instead their take on it. Now this wasn’t blow you away kinda food, however, as far as airports and airport restaurants go, this was pretty f****** good. I’d definitely eat it again. Waitress was friendly and attentive even though this place was busy. Prices are what you’d expect. Meal + drink + tax + tip came out to $ 20 exactly. If you’re in Tampa, Terminal A, hungry, have 45min or so to kill, I’d recommend the Green Iguana Mayne…

Food was bad, service was warm but slow. 4 $ for a burnt cup of coffee, 9 $ for some shitty toast. Never again.

This review is on behalf of my kids. I didn’t eat. Just had some wine, reasonably priced. Two of my children had the Cubans and loved them. One of my sons has become a Cuban connoisseur and has had several Cubans on our vacation; he says this is the best. My daughter’s burger was one of the best she’s had; and the fries were great. The server was very kind and quick and considerate of our time issues due to our upcoming flight. I would highly recommend it!!!

I decided to try this place twice before I wrote my review. If you have a plane to catch I would not recommend this place. The food takes about 30 – 40 mins to come out(even if you want something to go) and good luck finding your waiter/waitress to pay for your bill. Having said that, I ordered wings the first time and a grilled chicken sandwich the second time around. The grilled chicken sandwich is very mediocre nothing impressive at all, but I also don’t have anything bad to say about it. Simply, eh. The wings however were pretty good, I was stuffed after having them, although I did order fries as well(not included). They have about six or seven different sauces with are pretty flavorful. I ordered a couple of wing sauces on the side to dip my fries in so I know what to order next time. The white bbq sauce is really good with the fries, however I don’t know if I would put them on my wings. All in all if I had to choose a place to eat in terminal A and I had the time, I would eat here.

This place is just fine if you enjoy over priced everything!!! It’s the airport location so it is what it is. Food is just average, nothing to write home about. Fine!

So where to start with this one? Green Iguana TIA(Tampa International Airport) better step up your game. Let me start by saying I have been to the other Green Iguanas and the food is really good. The Green Iguana at the airport is terrible. The Egg Rolls were terrible, the chicken figures sucked. Basically the service was the only thing that was good. Ducky’s will be open soon and Green Iguana will probably go away.

My fiancé and I got to the airport especially early so we decided to stop here to get some breakfast before our flight. Wait staff obviously doesn’t care if they provide good service or not. They stand around while we’re looking around trying to place our order. The breakfast menu isn’t terribly expansive, with maybe six or seven options total. I got the ham and cheese omelet and I feel like I could’ve made something better at home. Ham chunks were extremely salty and tasted extremely processed and cold. Cheese wasn’t melted. Potatoes that came with it were just alright. I know airport food is not known to be all that great, but this was pretty disappointing. I would probably opt to eat somewhere else the next time we’re at the airport. Or try it at a time other than breakfast to see if their lunch/dinner menu is any better.

Our flight was delayed, so we decided to just sit down and have a nice leisurely meal. Conveniently located in Gate A, I really liked the ambience of this restaurant. We were seated right away on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There’s a bar available and it wasn’t noisy. They are known for their burgers, so I ordered the mean green burger without bacon. The blue cheese had a nice flavor, and the spinach and artichoke was a great combo with it. I ordered the hamburger medium and it was nice and juicy. The Capri salad for an extra two dollars was fresh. Our server Amy was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and right next to airline restrooms. Will definitely come back here if we are in the airport again.

Stopped in while waiting for my flight. Ordered the margarita-no salt. The bartender put salt on it, the waiter noticed and they wiped the salt off the glass in front of me. I could taste the fallen salt in my margarita the whole time. My whole time I was there, the waitresses were arguing with the bartender and bitching about other coworkers. I understand that coworkers suck but loudly complaining about them in front of customers is inappropriate. My server was great! He grabbed my table that was out of his section because no one else had for 10 minutes. Food was good as well. Only reason I give this place 2 stars.

This is not a bad place for an airport. We were there to drown our sorrows after our team suffered an embarrassing bowl loss. Reasonably roomy, clean and quiet. Service was good but a little slow. We weren’t in a big hurry but airport restaurants NEED to be time conscious. At the end I ended up taking my credit card over to the register and standing there for the entire transaction. Overall a decent place. For an airport, above average.

We got to the airport early so we needed a place to hang out for a little while. I ordered a draft bud light and the three cheese spin dip. The draft beer is 8.00 a glass the mix drinks are 14.00. The service was good the food was fast. I will try a different place next visit.

This place has a lot of seats. More so than it looks when you walk by so if you think it is to crowded just check as there are quite a few seats out back. The bar has always been crowded each times each bee to that terminal but that is because it is much better than the two alternatives. I think the margarita was much to sweet. Some might like it but I prefer a more tart and stronger alcohol taste. Ordered the pork taco plate and the portion was more than enough for one or you could share if you don’t want to be full on the flight. The food was very good and the server was very attentive if I needed anything.

Ok so there is only two options at this terminal and well hell all the other green iguanas have bin a blast. So I ordered the Mojo Pork Sandwich and well let me tell you it was a little disappointing. As you can see in the picture. Mama always thought me don’t judge the food by what it looks like but instead what it taste. Boy it didn’t come into fruition this time. The host and waitress where very nice, but the drink and the sandwich fell short. I ordered a strawberry lemonade that tasted like cough syrup and well hell the pork sandwich had very if any mojo and they must have bin running short on the pork. I saw some nachos appetizers that came out for the people next to me and looked yummy, but for almost $ 20 with the meet I couldn’t do it.

Nothing special, and not cheap, but at least it’s real food in the airport terminal, brought out efficiently. Since nothing can be used that might be a weapon, they don’t have fajitas, but they come close with soft tacos that have all the same ingredients. If you have 15 minutes to spare(or more), get a real meal here rather than some fast-food sandwich from another vendor.

I fly Silver a lot, and unfortunately they are delayed a lot so thank goodness for GI here. I can grab a quick bite and a beer while I’m waiting. It’s typical bar food, but they have some decent salads too.

Came in while waiting for a JetBlue flight to take off. I had a bud light draft and ordered the grilled chicken tacos while sitting at the bar. The bartender was Maria and she was nice. My food was good, but kinda tasted like fast food a bit, and the beer tasted a bit flat and was $ 8 which I thought was ridiculous for an airport draft beer. There’s a different restaurant in the terminal call d Sam Snead’s which looks nicer, and as if they they fresher food. I would try there next time.
