Frolic Exchange

Such a cute place! Trendy and fun clothes and other items to check out, and great deals too! The staff is super friendly and very attentive. I highly recommend!

I happened into Frolic Exchange with a good friend of mine during a recent thrift/​vintage excursion around the Tampa area and was so pleased to have done so. Brie and Nancy have done a fine job curating a wonderful little nest full of all sorts of unique items including handmade, recycled, upcycled and vintage, and were both absolute sweethearts to chat with. My friend ended up finding a cute choker that sadly was too large for her tiny neck, but without a blink they offered to alter it for her right then and there. I absolutely loved how eclectic the shop was and can’t wait until my next excursion to visit once more. Highly recommend visiting if you’re anywhere near the area and are looking for a few fun new pieces for your wardrobe (unless you’re a square).

I love to see new businesses opening in Seminole Heights, and this is exactly the kind of store we need. Located next to the new location for A Modern Line on Florida Ave, this tiny shop has a great selection of vintage clothing and accessories for both men and women.
The Owner definitely has an eye for knowing what vintage clothing would still look awesome today. In addition, the owner and her Mom have a whole ‘upcycle’ section, where they have taken used clothing and altered them in little ways to make them even cooler and more unique. I bought a jean vest that they put a new back panel and matching pocket trim on and I LOVE it!
The store is also having events to encourage the community to stop by — this Saturday night they are having a block party with beer, wine, and hot dogs. Previously they had an evening nail art party. Stop by, check ‘em out, and spread the word!
