Ahhhhhh!

Emalee was awesome. Her studio is closed for renovations and she went out of her way to try and find me another studio to go to. When she couldn’t find one, she offered to do an out call to help me and my poor shoulder out.
Besides the excellent customer service, I got the best massage of my life! I get huge knots in my shoulder and back. I previously went to another massage place to get it worked on and they failed. Additionally, I had just strained a shoulder muscle, so I was not doing so hot.
Emalee claims to come from massage royalty and I can’t deny that. While she was working her magic, I was feeling a tingling sensation everywhere. She explained that the oxygen was working its way to my skin which is a good indication of the massage actually working and promoting positive blood flow. I have never felt this with a massage anywhere!
Today, my shoulder feels great. The tension is practically gone and my injury hardly hurts at all. Best massage of my life, without question. Do yourself a favor and forget those corporate chains and low cost studios. Call Emalee instead. You will not regret it.

I have had quite a few professional massages in the past… that being said this place is tops! such a soothing feeling of comfort right as you walk through the front door. somehow, you just know this is going to be an amazing experience. i can safely say, visits to this place on a regular basis go beyond frivolity, and would venture as far as to say they are a means to improve one’s overall health. If it doesn’t improve my health i can at least say it makes me feel healthier (or if nothing else, like a million bucks!) Emily has a gift, both with her hands and with her soothing nurturing nature. any person debating whether or not to visit her studio. I can’t believe its taken me this long to write a review. i could write about emage all night!!! thanks for such a wonderful experience!!!

So I have been to Emalee’s private studio in the past before she opened up at this location. She is very focused on a whole body approach to healing and improving my well being. She goes far beyond having me lay down on a table and get a massage. We discussed things ranging from what I eat to how my feelings have been. This helps guide her in her practice and really goes beyond what you typically expect from a massage. The new studio is very cute and quaint inside. Its a little hard to find but that’s just because Dale Mabry is hard to locate addresses but haven’t had that problem since the first visit. I also tried a detox body wrap and it really is a quite interesting experience. I am considering doing more of them in the future to see how they can help me lose that stubborn belly fat.

This was a memorable massage in so many ways… As pointed out by a previous reviewer, Emalee is a second-​generation healer — and her instinctual gifts for this are obvious. She was incredible at knowing exactly what was needed, and talking me through the deeper work when necessary. I immediately felt confident in her talents and her knowledge, and was able to relax and trust her process.
I cannot wait to schedule my next session with her… She’s the real deal!

Woohoo! As good as it gets!
A combination of excellent training and a natural intuition of the body give Emalee’s work the edge. She is at least a second generation healer and so I suspect her comfort level in healing touch is largely innate. At first touch, I feel like she knows exactly what my body needs, and that is certainly the sign of a great massage therapist! In her hands, I feel a level of complete trust and surrender. Consistent sessions with her provide the most beneficial impact, and I’m ready for my next one!
